Back in the good 'ol arcade days, beat 'em up type of games were never rare. Most of them were just average mediocre games with minimal gameplay value. Every once in awhile, certain games stand out in the genre and one that comes to my mind is Double Dragon. Yes folks thats right, Billy and his older brother Jimmy Lee are back. Double Dragon was a kick ass fighter back in the day and it has been ported to the GBA. The game is not just a straight port (thank goodness).... Read more

Those looking for a genuine Double Dragon experience need look no further. The GBA version is everything you would want in a Double Dragon port and then some. With new stages, enemies and some interesting modes of gameplay, it is definitely a title that fans of the series will want to pick up. Sadly, the game length is really, really short, which makes the thirty dollar price tag a bit difficult to justify, but the game is a lot of fun and the upgrades have only made it... Read more

The twin dragons return to rescue Marion in a strange GBA package that is half port, half remake, and pretty much all quality. Come get your fight on. Read more

Everyone talks about Final Fight One on the GBA as being so awesome. Well it was until this gem came out. I never played a Double Dragon game before seriously. So I can't compare them for you (sorry). I do know that this is a teriffic game that should be owned by all beat-em up fans. The controls take some time to get used to (R for jump!?) but once you work around them it's a lot of fun. You can block, parry when you block right at the moment of impact, do running jump...
