Excerpt: There’s nothing I can tell you about DKC 3 that you don’t already know but to refresh your memory this is the one starring Dixie and Kiddy Kong; Rare’s third and in my opinion second best (after 2) in the series that shocked and rocked a nation with photo real 16-bit 2D.
Summary: Is the GBA dying? It's a question all GBA owners have considered at some point. The outstanding success of the DS coupled with the dwindling GBA support would seem so but at least Nintendo themselves are still publishing games for it.

Donkey Kong Countries were pretty good ports, so we could almost expect that
this port would be good as well.
Conclusion: There’s nothing really wrong with the graphics or the sound, it’s just that these areas aren’t necessarily impressive. Considering that this game is a port, being faithful to the original is a given. It would’ve been nice had the game been overhauled, but what’s there still is decent.

Conclusion: Regardless, we still got a lot out of DKC 3, and that's despite having played pretty much everything going in the genre old and new. The stylised visuals looks great after all these years (and better than most things on GBA, it has to be said), and the exacting, refined gameplay formula still had us...
