Conclusion: Overall, King of Swing is a fun experience making Donkey Kong’s return to the adventure genre a welcomed one. If you’re looking for a new Gamboy Advance game to get, King of Swing is an excellent choice.
Excerpt: So the other day, I walk into my local GameStop just browsing, looking for some sort of GBA game I could play, since I've had a real lack of new GBA titles lately, when I come across DK: King of Swing. Naturally, I skipped over it, falling under the impression that it was a crap game, without actually having fully played it, let alone tested it, and browsed what little selection the store actually had (that's GameStop for you).
Conclusion: Nintendo has kept the title pretty hush hush, even though its scheduled release is two months away. Even at E3, the demo was minimally effective for getting an idea of the game. Maybe the Jungle Beat idea is cooler than we give it credit for, but it seems as if Nintendo is forgetting the true roots of the ape. Sure the bongos were cool the first time you used them, but trying to put the idea on your handheld is a little extreme. Where's our traditional Donkey Kong game?
Summary: Spieleinfos Entwickler: Nintendo Publisher: Nintendo Spieleranzahl: 1 Genre: Action Mit dem Spiel DK - King of Swing erreichte die Nintendo-Gemeinde im Jahr 2005 ein neues, abgedrehtes Donkey Kong Jump & Run 2D-Spiel, mit einer Spielidee aus alten Wurzeln, die beinahe schon vergessen war. Spielinhalt: Das Spiel wurde neben Nintendo von PAON entwickelt, welches mir mal wieder keinen Eindruck verschaffte. Aber nun gut.
Pros: typisches Dschungel Fieber mit DK , Rätsel / KI der Levels , gute Spielidee / Einzelheiten
