Overall, Harmony of Dissonance, despite its apparent flaws which serve to make it the weakest of the Castleroid games, is still great fun and a worth entry in Castlevania. The references that Harmony makes to past games are a nice touch of nostalgia, especially their jab at the end boss of Simon's Quest (see if you can find out what I mean). It seemed like it took Konami forever to release a follow-up to the acclaimed Symphony of the Night , but within a short matter of time the Gameboy Advance became the home to a few successors. In Harmony of Dissonance , the Belmonts return to action as players take control of the legendary Simon Belmont’s grandson, Juste Belmont. On the way they stumble upon Dracula's castle, which appears right out of the fog. And that's... Read more

It’s definitely worth picking up as a great budget portable title though, especially in the Castlevania Double Pack. Read more
Overall & Conclusion This is a fun Castlevania game that follows along in a similar vein to the other GBA Castlevania titles, but in some ways it's missing something. I found the map layout to be rather disappointing, and I have a lot of tolerance for these things if it's fun doing it. With just a little too little guidance compared to other titles, I found it lacking in the pacing. But even still, it's a solid playthrough. I found it to be around a ten hour adventure,... Read more
