Not to Bad, Some Weak Moments, Some Good Moments

Martin Murphy, amazon.co.uk
5 August 2003
  • Summary: When i first bought this game, I was really looking foward for this game to be as good as the first Buffy Game Boy Colour Game, but it didn't reach that level. I think this is an Okay game. It didn't take me an 11 year old that long to complete this game and I didn't find it so hard and mind blowing for a 12+ game. On the good side the levels ar very good and are almost exactly like watching an episode on a Thursday night.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King

Michael, amazon.co.uk
31 July 2003
  • Summary: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King is quite a good game because the graphics are super for a GBA/GBA SP, but if you're looking for a game which has a lot of depths then I dont recommend this game. The price of the game is acceptable but if you really are a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and is desprate to play on it, rent it and dont buy it.

Great Game and Still Room For Improvments

  • Summary: This is the first game I have ever bought for the GBA console. Ionly got it because I am a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I bought it the first day it was out in England and it took less than 24 hours to complete it in easy mode. But don'tlet that put you off there is also normal and hard modes which are more challenging. All together there is 16 levels. Which all of them don't take long to complete.

A Great Improvement, That is Very True To The Show.

"buffycrazy13", amazon.co.uk
5 July 2003
  • Summary: At a first glance the game seems a promising improvement from the previous Gameboy Colour version of Buffy. The Game is set in The 4th Season The gameplay is straight forward, Jump, Punch, Kick and Crouch. But unlike its predecessor, it features an exciting weapon system, using weapons from the show which can be combined, i was pleased to see The Glove of Myhnegon.

Wrath of the Darkhul King-Review ---> V. Good

"paulusmacpaulus", amazon.co.uk
4 July 2003
  • Summary: Buffy the vampire Slayer- Wrath of the Darkhul King is not the best game in the world but is still a very good one. Buffy the vampire slayer fans will not be disapointed. Those who bought the previous game for gameboy colour will have been very severely scarred for life. The graphics were pants and each level the same!! This time around THQ have not made the same mistake. The graphics appear 3-D but you can only go left or right which was a slight let down.

Buffy: Wrath of the Darkhul King

"craiglister03", amazon.co.uk
3 July 2003
  • Summary: The story is set in season four and we have Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Anya, and Riley all in the mix. You can only play with Buffy as you battle through sixteen levels of vampires, demons, and monsters. There are three difficulty settings Easy, Normal, and Hard I would suggest you go with Hard. The game lacks any real story that you would expect from the show or another Buffy game it is pretty straight forward and easy to complete within a day or two.
