Summary: Story: Breath of Fire II follows the story of Ryu a young orphan boy that is descended from the dragon clan. After leaving the orphanage Ryu and his young fried Bow stumble across Barubary a powerful demon.
Summary: I let it slide in the first game... but not this time around. At least now not all villagers in each town say the exact same thing all the time. Gameplay is nothing special and neither is the storyline... especially since the poor translation makes it difficult to follow. Nice graphics, though.
Summary: I loved BoF2 for SNES and i dont think has aged a bit, the BoF series is the best RPG series besides Final Fantasy. The graphics, music, storyline, and fun factor are all top notch. i cant believe they fit such a long game on a GBA cartridge.
Summary: I finished beating Breath of Fire 2.This RPG has aged quickly, and it seemed much more fun, exciteing and engrossing when it was on Super Nintendo. But its almost a direct port ---- almost the same thing as the Super NES version. The gameplay is ok,but the battle system may be a turn off for new school...
Summary: Breath of Fire 2 on the GBA is just as good as Breath of Fire 1 on the GBA, if not better. BOF2 has an all new character line-up and a new (and better) storyline. The graphics have been beefed up a little since the first game and, as I said befere, the storyline is more enthralling.

Cons: Translation mistakes (but sometimes they're amusing)
Excerpt: Breath of fire 2 is one gripping tale. It's a sequel to Breath of fire 1 which explains why the main characters are similar. This game begins with a young boy who goes to look for his sister in the nearby mountains. He finds her being attacked by a monster and tries to fight it but to no avail.
