A definite must have for any RPG fan. A true classic!
9 August 2013
Summary: A definite MUST HAVE for anyone looking to complete their golden-age of RPG's on the SNES collection. This game is one of the reasons why the SNES and its generation of gaming is considered the greatest of all time!
Summary: Story: Breath of Fire II follows the story of Ryu a young orphan boy that is descended from the dragon clan. After leaving the orphanage Ryu and his young fried Bow stumble across Barubary a powerful demon. Barubary easily crushes the two of you and you reawaken in the present time in a small town where you and Bow operate as mercenaries of a sort.
Summary: Amazing game! Breath of Fire is one of the greatest classic RPG series ever made, and this one was no exception. Great gameplay, fun story, and an excellent game for nostalgia. Lol. Very glad I found a copy of this old game.
Summary: when I was younger, I used to play this game all the time...I found it in my first house that i rented....at first I was'nt into the turn based style then it kinda grew on me....one of my most favorite classics....Brian.
Summary: Just my personal opinion but I think the is the best in the series being a diehard SNES RPG fan. Alot of fun packed into one cartridge I suggest fans of the series to give it a play through or even another.
Excerpt: Improvement between installments of RPG series is a frequent occurrence. Rare is the transition in a series of such a noteworthy quality leap as the Breath of Fire series evidences, however. Where Breath of Fire managed at best to be fitfully diverting, Breath of Fire II succeeds in delivering a quality quest with quite a few distinctions to make it stand out. It is not one of the greatest RPGs from the 16-bit era, but does deserve to be remembered 11 years later.
Excerpt: A boy from Gate Village has a vision of a horrifying demon, with his family disappearing and all memory of them being erased after an inexplicable event. He befriends a fellow orphan named Bow, with the both of them traveling across the world and joining a hunter's guild that ultimately leads them into several events involving towns haunted by demons and the church of St. Eva.
Summary: I like how the info says great condition, but the label is old and scratched and is actually peeling in places and the game is very sensitive. Doesn't sound too much like great condition huh? Maybe revise words and look at products at the same time instead of making up descriptions!
Summary: i have played this before and have truly enjoyed it. it is very fun to play and easy to get into. the main pro in my opinion is that all through the game you are alyways given a choice ( as examples, you have a coice to pick who is going to build your town and who gets to live there, and at the risk of being a spoiler, when there is the scene of the two ninas you have a coice as to wether or not to forgive the original nina) this naturaly is very interesting.
