Advance Wars is a video game developed by Intelligent System and published by Nintendo. It is a game with single player mode or multiplayer mode up to four persons.

Features

The Advance Wars is a modern turn-based strategy game. It offers 114 battle maps with extensive tutorial modes for beginners. Players play the role of a military advisor in the Orange Star army. The battles will take place on land, air, and over the sea. The battle map is in grids. Players move units in grid like moving chess on board and attack enemies at a distance. It offers five modes of battling: campaign, war room, stats, battle maps, and design maps. The mission of players is to defeat the opposing CO by wiping them out or capturing headquaters. Players are graded in terms of speed, power and technique during the mission. It is equipped with a map editor in which player can create, save, and trade own designed battle maps using design-maps option. It supports multiplayer functions with multi-cartridges multiplayer and single cartridge multiplayer. The Versus mode allows four-player competition with only a single cartridge on the same system. Whereas, the Link Mode allows both single-cartridge and multi-cartridge multiplayer options. It uses link cable to connect among players. Furthermore, it supports memory card.
