Summary: this game works exactly like the first advance wars, and it will still entertain the gamer just like it. it also makes you think about your moves, and is all about strategy, not mindless button mashing.
Summary: I bought this by looking at GameSpot reviews for GBA games I could play on my DS. Some of the games on that list might have good reviews, but I personally dislike (Castlevania, for example). But this game is FANTASTIC. If you like turn-based strategy like the old BATTLE ISLE games from BLUE BYTE, you will enjoy this one a lot (and the other Advance War games). It's clearly made in the spirit of that classic strategy game.
Summary: This is more or less advance wars 2 with a few new features, like the new powerful neotank, which can destroy tanks like nothing. There are also a few new missions and new graphics, but I still like normal two better.
Summary: What I love about the game is that you really have to think while you play it. So it keeps your mind going. There is not much that i dislike about it. The reason that I bought it was so I could play it and so I could play with it with my little brother who aso has one and that is how I go to know the game is by someone else who has it.
Summary: it beats the first one by a lon shot and the first one was awsome so you can guess my opinion on this one and i hope more are on the way. the graphics are good for a gba game, and it really pushes your stragity to the limit at some points.
Summary: Advance wars 2 is a great game but it hasn't changed much since the last one. The only major change is that there are new characters and 1 new unit. The graphics are a bit dull especially the black hole units, there veichles are like hovering space buggies and there infantry and mech unit's are like incoming aliens from venus. There are still the same rules to win battles, that is either capturing the enemy HQ or destroy all of the oposing units.
Summary: I owned the original advance wars and that was certaintly the best strategy game i have ever had on any format. I am still playing it now, and when AW 2 came out i rushed to buy it. The game is very similar to the last one, which is not a bad thing by any means. The brand new campaign gives you much more specific missions, like destroying cannons, finding your HQ and capturing cities in a set amount of time rather then just defeat all the enemies or capture the HQ like...
