A great system with great games. The best handheld ever!

Excerpt: The PSP is the best console I have ever owned. To this day I am still amazed that I have a console experience in my pocket. I know that other handheld consoles have since achieved this with shinier graphics and new gimmicks, but the PSP did it first and has a stellar list of amazing titles for it. For anyone who''s ever used a playstation controller, there should be no surprises for you.
Pros: "Light and easy to carry around", "A huge library of top titles", "Comfortable and ergonomic", "Great design", "A console experience on in your pocket"
Cons: "Some models e.g. the 3000 have bad screen ghosting", "poor battery life when using UMD games"
Excerpt: I brought this a few months after it was first released, and have never had a problem with it, the graphics are very good and so is the sound quality, although I would suggest using headphones instead of the inbuilt speakers, because the volume isn't very loud. The range of games available for the PSP is very good, and being so small and portable makes it a great for when you go away on holiday and want to be able to play a game when you're travelling.
Excerpt: When Nintendo's DS came out in 2005, it was the best handheld console and nothing could compete with it. But when the PSP came out just months later, the DS finally had some competition. They have both been out for around five years now, and are still in fierce competition. But now, with the revolutionary 3DS coming out, surely the PSP would lose this war?
Excerpt: Having recently purchased a Sony PSP to relieve boredom whilst on travelling to uni. I bought the PSP from The Hut at £129.85 in Piano Black, I was very excited to open and begin playing on the PSP. There does seem to be a distinct lack of 'girly' games for me to buy so I went for Grand Theft Auto. Upon playing I was greeted with a bright screen for clearer game play, this compared to a DSI which I have also purchased (and hate....
Excerpt: I really like the PSP and think it is a great hand held gaming system. I paid about £130 for it which is a reasonable price because the games on it are really good and you can do lots on it. It is not just for playing games so is very good value for money. It is black and shiny and has a really nice big screen but it is very slim so it doesn't feel heavy to hold and the shape of it feels very comfortable to hold in your hands.
Sony invented a masterpiece when they released the PSP

Excerpt: When the PSP was released there was huge hype around it regarding whether or not it could knock the nintendo of the top spot. I remember pre ordering it with huge excitement waiting for it to be in stock so I could go and pick it up. Price When this was just released i believe it was in the region of around £149. This was a fair amount more than the Nintendo DS which was released around the same time as the PSP.
Great console for those who are constantly on the go but also bored whilst on the go!

Excerpt: The PSP is a great gadget for both children and adults, because both my children and I and my husband enjoy it, especially when on public transport or being driven somewhere, as it keeps you occupied in so many ways and out of boredom at whatever time you use it. There are a variety of games that are excellent to play and have excellent graphics, as well as that, they load at a decent speed that doesn't at all leave you impatient.
Excerpt: THE SUMMARY Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP) standard edition was the corporation's first attempt to tackle the portable system market offering hi-tech, graphically advanced games and a some multimedia functionality. The PSP is typically offered for sale around £130 although can be found a lot cheaper second-hand and is dependant upon the bundle you choose.

Excerpt: The psp is my second handheld, following a brief dalliance with the underrated Sega Game Gear some years ago. My model is the 3004 Ferrari red type bought as new on a well known auction site 5 months ago. No issues with it and all reports suggest this latest model is very reliable. Perhaps the most impressive thing about this portable is its screen - it is the ideal size for a handheld, as large as a real portable console can be.
Excerpt: This really is a great piece of equipment for anybody who is into either Computer Games or watching Videos on a portable device. I have had mine for a couple of years now and even with a PS3 and PC this still gets used. I initially liked the idea of a PSP as it would allow to play games whilst my other half watched TV without the need for me to go into another room. However after owning this for a while it has been so much more than a tool of convenience.
