Summary: Its wireless abilites are limited to ((((((((((((( B )))))))))))) not a,b,g,and n .... just B ..... so if your router isn't running a mix of the two you want, for example g and b, it won't let you get on the web or use the internet.
Pros: Ok this is a great system...
Cons: Very few games are decent or worth playing... alot of the Acrade games that are on PS3 that you know could work on the PSP aren't supported for the PSP. Ex. Marvel vs. Capcom 2.... Mega Man 9.... why not make these games suppose the PSP its stupid .... oh well Sony wants to be dumb let them.
Summary: The online manual differs from the one in the box with regard to the analog stick. The manual in the box outlines a method to calibrate the analog stick during gameplay (which did not work for me).
Pros: Portability. Look and Feel (very solid) 16GB internal memory (ample for most, even generous)
Cons: Analog stick stopped working for me after a month of light use. It was kept in a case to prevent dust accumuation and I kept the device very clean, playing mostly in a clean office environment.
Summary: Overall, I like the quality part of this product. I don't have to deal with UMD anymore. Other than that, if you're on a budget then I'd say go with the PSP3000 model instead because it offers more bang for your buck.
Pros: I remember being the first to per-order my original PSP1000 for $325 without game. Everything about this system scream "premium" which interm means quality product but also something else [see Cons]. I've been away from PSP for a while so I jump to this new system because it is way more portable ...
Cons: -1 egg because alot of downloadable game are more expensive than UMD counterpart (Sony starting to annoys me). Also, the game download library is about 1/4 of the actual UMD library or even less (thing started to get weird). Another -1 egg because the GO pricing is off the chart and thus preventi...
Summary: I bought this as a x-mas present for my son. I had to "test" it to make sure it worked and I wanted to download some games so he would have them on x-mas day (I'm sure Sony's site will be overwhelmed on x-mas day). The whole idea of digital storage is IMHO a two edged sword (see pros/cons above).
Pros: -Compact sleek design -Construction feels pretty solid -no UMD's to keep track of/lose/or get stolen -Good video playback quality -included software automatically converts copywrited DVD's to digitial (which is strange coming from Sony) -fairly generous amount of onboard storage -Wifi and Blue to...
Cons: -relatively short battery life (~4hrs) -can't play and charge battery at the same time -WiFi "b" only -No UMD's to have a physical copy of a purchased game -even with the reduced cost of no middle man, the games are still a bit pricey -screen size is same resolution as the psp3000 but is physical...
Summary: If you want a handheld that is fun to use and fun to show off, buy the psp go. If you're holding onto an older version of the psp, hang on a little longer. I'm not sure it's worth all the extra money at this moment (the ps3's only 50 bux more...)
Pros: Small and compact, easy to keep your games in working condition (since they're digital). At "C_G_K", your cons are all personal choices not actual downfalls of the system. Not being able to buy used games actually helps the video game industry, and if your games are downloading too slow, get a be...
Cons: Now for REAL cons: not a lot of online gaming support. -small library of games. -I've always been a Nintendo guy myself, lol. -collects figerprints and scratches fairly easily...
Don't buy this if you already have a PSP and if you don't have one, wait for the NGP!

Excerpt: The new PSP GO is the latest PSP to be released by Sony! The inital launch of the PSP GO was terrible and Sony had to relaunch it with a get '10 games free' offer. However the PSP GO is still very expensive for what you get and not really worth buying.
A cute - but expensive - new little number from La Maison de Sony

Excerpt: If there's one thing you can be sure of EVERY Christmas without fail, it'll be that there's a new gadget that everyone wants and (very quickly) everywhere runs out of. This year, all the predictions are that this year's 'must have' gadget is going to be Sony's new handheld games console, the PSP Go!
Summary: Digital delivery is the future, or if you're Apple, it's the present. Sony would love to repeat the success of Apple's digital only app store, and so cut out the makers of plastic discs and the bricks and mortar retail stores who demand their cut of the profits.
Summary: Item new in box however item was sold with the games offer already applied for. No small print to explain this! Console is used and cherished by son however was disapointed when £175 games offer was unavailable.
Summary: I bought this for my grandson. It included free games to be downloaded but had so many problems - easy to get demos, but this was not as stated on the box. Seems we have to wait up to 2 months for code to download games. My son sent e-mail complaining about it and we await reply.
