  • Excerpt: I love my PSP. PSP 3000 in my opinion is better than the PSP GO. You might like to know I've owned both of them. I have had my PSP 3000 for about two years. PSP 3000 lets you download videos from straight from your computer. I've downloaded a mp4 converter which lets me convert any video to mp4 format and play it on the PSP. You can find some good ones online. Of-course, there's mp3s that you can download on the PSP.

Great features, but it's not built to last.

  • Excerpt: First impressions tell you that the PSP is a great portable device, with a lot of appreciable features. When I got mine I was most excited for its use as a portable web browser - something which, at the time of the product's release, was still pretty rare. However, given the price of this product, it seems fair to assume that if you take good care of it, it's going to last you more than a couple of years.

  • Excerpt: After accidently throwing away my son's DSi lite - with all the games too, I asked him if he would rather get the psp or another DSi as at that point we were starting from scratch all over again. He opted for the PSP, but I should have been more saavy a shopper and investigated the game on my own. There isn't anything technically wrong with the PSP and he never had any trouble with it electronically.

For being geared towards younger girls, it is difficult to use!

  • Excerpt: We bought this PSP for my daughter - 5 at the time, now 6, and she has still to this day not been able to really play it.  She can do a few things on it, but when playing the Hannah Montana game that came with it she gets all flustered because it is hard to really get a hang of.  I am also really disappointed that Sony has not come out with some more "girl" geared games.  Most of the games available for the PSP are for major gamers and boys.

  • Excerpt: Well, I travel a lot. So after much debate and little research I broke down and bought a psp to cover my gaming needs while abroad. After choosing on te Madden 09 package, should of went God of War: COO version, I settled in for what I assumed would be a long rainy day of gaming. "Insert screeching brake sound here" Not so fast, Madden 09 was nothing like I assumed it would be, nothing like the Ps2 version but more like the Playstation version.

  • Excerpt: I purchased the sony playstation with the sole purpose of my three year old for long travel trips and to occupy her at anytime at home or away from home and as she gets older she will become more advanced at games. She is able to navigate the keyboard alone and she can hold the system fine . I download a few movies for as well. I was  a little disappointed because you can only download certain mp4 compatible movies not all mp4 movies are compatible for some reason.

The PSP started off great.

  • Excerpt: The PSP started off GREAT! It looked amazing! However, once you have it for a while, the fun wears off. From the ad's and trailers of the PSP before it came out, it looked like a dream come true. It was just like the playstation, it had the four keys: triangle, square, circle, and X. There was a nice joystick, and the screen looked GORGEOUS. Now that it's out, first of all I can't say that the PSP is BAD.

(PSP) Great game, easily breakable, not really worth the money

  • Excerpt: The sony PSP games are great, but they are not really worth the money you spend.  My son has had 4 of them by choice.  If you clean the screen with to much force, or something as small as a wrestling man hitting the screen will destroy it (psp) and then you start thinking about all of the games that have been bought that can't be played and calling sony or someone at the main location does not help especially if you don't have insurance and even if you do have insurance...

  • Excerpt: i got this psp for my self about 3 month's ago. it has good gaming, wonderful graphics and sounds, it comes with a game and a movie! i love the games! they are fun and not that expensive. screen size is not the best but you get used to it. if you ask me i would buy it online as it is much cheaper. its a little pricy for some. most games are for ages 10 and up so unless you let your kids play grand theft auto i wouldn't recommend it. you can use the internet too.
