Summary: Dealing with the manufacturer is something that I am not looking forward to......
Pros: Was a Christmas gift for my nephew and he loved it while it worked. He and his friends were able to connect up and play games together. He was on top of the world.
Cons: About 2 weeks ago he stated that his button was beginning to stick. Today he called me and said it was unusable anymore. I just picked it up and tried it out myself and the right direction pad button does in fact stick to the slightest touch (even if you press a different direction pad button.)
Summary: Sony is at falt for this one. They rocked with the PS2 with awsome FPS and great RPG's. They failed this system with a bunch of "ok" puzzle games and single player lameness
Pros: Great graphics on most games and awsome durability. Perfect hardware for some multiplayer games like fps and mmo games (but however see below)
Cons: NO MMOS????!!! NO GOOD FPS GAMES??!! Who the hell is making the decisions on what games to make for this system?? This is a PS2 for christs sake make some decent software!! And for crying out loud its 3/15/2010 and there has ben 1 game released this month, and of course its some lame baseball game that got a 4.5/10 on IGN
Summary: we bought this for our 9 year old son. i am not sure what the true value would be the movies that came in the bundle were out dated and 2 were rated PG13 and one was rated R. I am not sure if it was worth the extra money Also the midway games that i thought were a great additive even something that i could play, was also rated M. The PSP is a great system and are very pleased with that part.
Summary: I thought this was a great console when I bought it for my husband, as the games are more grownup than those on the nintendo DS, however, my children soon got their hands on it and after a few drops on the floor was quickly broken. I then bought a 2nd hand replacement, and this quickly broke also. Good for grown-ups, not very durable for children.
Summary: Well it's a psp... Limited number of games but those that exists are fun. However, I used to own a fat version and it felt like a quality piece of kit. Solid opening for the UMD discs, Metallic feel etc... very impressive. Now with this new version, not only no accessories are provided (You get a battery thank god :D) The UMD disc slot is so fragile, on my first day I noticed that it no longer closes properly, very thin and plasticky.
Summary: I got this for my wife. She loves it but the battery life is a bit shorter than the old ones!and the UMD door is kind of weak and it can be broken easily!Secondly there is no accessories in the pack!not even earphones for god sake not even a USB cable to connect it to your PC , i mean really....you'll find only a battery and of course a charger and a psp obviously! BUT overall its a good console, try it.
Summary: Let's face it - the PSP has been a dead duck for some time. The impressive launch and promises of a new dawn in portable gaming rapidly faded, as it became obvious that Sony couldn't compete with Nintendo's genuinely imaginative innovations; it takes more than an impressive visual experience to sustain the interest of gameplayers...basically, behind the eye-candy, you need A GAME!
