The Sony PSP-3000 measures 169.4 mm x 18.6 mm x 71.4 mm (W x H x D) in dimension and weighs approximately 189 g including its provided battery pack. The Sony PSP-3000 runs on a PSP CPU with a system clock frequency of 1.333 MHz. It also has a system memory with a capacity of 64 MB. There is also a Full transparent type, TFT drive display that measures 4.3 inches diagonally with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. It can support up to approximately 16,770,000 colours. There are also built-in stereo speakers and a built-in microphone for VOiP purposes as well as gaming purposes. The Sony PSP-3000 also has Wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b) (Wi-Fi) capabilities. In terms of connectivity, the Sony PSP-3000 has a high speed USB 2.0 mini B port, DC IN 5V connector, DC OUT Connector, Video out/ headset connector and an analog video out port. For expansion purposes, the Sony PSP-3000 has a memory card slot that is compatible with Memory Stick PRO Duo memory cards. As for buttons, the Sony PSP-3000 includes directional buttons (up/ down/ right/ left), analog stick, action buttons (triangle, circle, cross, square), START button, SELECT button, PS button, POWER/ HOLD switch, WLAN switch, display button, sound button, and volume (+/ -) buttons. The Sony PSP-3000 runs on a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack which can be charged via an AC adaptor or via USB power supply.
