Excerpt: My biggest beef with the PSP is the sound. The sound is fairly good for games, but in my opinion leaves alot to be desired for movies and music. The quality is fairly good, but the sound volume is only moderate. My problem with it is if I'm watching an action movie, I want the special effects to be LOUD and in your face. Even with the ear buds, the sound doesn't go above a moderate volume level.
Excerpt: I have a psp and I think it is fantastic. I have a Nintendo ds too but I think the psp is a little bit better. The psp has good graphics and you can even use the Internet on it. You can put pictures, music, videos, and you can even download games onto the psp. About one week ago i found out that you could hook a camera up to the psp. The only thing that sucks about the psp is if you want to play someone one on one you would need the link cable.
This console is [without hacking] an average console.

Excerpt: As the tag says, I am willing to pay for quality. Which is what I did when I bought this console, however the games....are somewhat the opposite. The only worthwhile games are the ones developed by Sony which are'nt that many. The interface is clean and easy to use and the buttons take some time getting use to but in the end it's a easy console to use. The speakers are pretty weak so headphones are recommended.
Lots of fun if you can look past the technical dificulties

Excerpt: I love the Sony Playstation family. We added 2 of the PSP 3000's to our collection and at first were very impressed with the graphics, multi player fetures and internet capabilities. Shortly after our purchase however, they started falling apart. These are not used by the kids yet and thou I have dropped mine a few times it's not as if I am torchering the thing either. We contacted Sony via phone and was completly blown off by the young man who took our call.
Excerpt: They should make these consoles a little bit more durable since young children do love to play video games all the time. Why would the opening where you put the game in be so sensitive. It broke and won't read the disc anymore. Everything else on there turns on but won't read the disc. I have a PS3 and I absouletly love it. I don't have nothing against Sony. I just don't think they made a device strong enough for children. They do drop things you know.
Excerpt: When I first got my PSP I was very excited, it was my own gaming device! The excitement quickly faded as I realized how much it would cost to purchase all the UMD discs and what not. Easy to configure device for those who are tech savvy and what not but hard for the average consumer.
Excerpt: I have owned my Sony PSP for several years, and it has brought me many hours of portable gaming enjoyment. Although not as well received as the Nintendo DS, I picked the PSP for its better graphics. Although the selection of games is not as great as I had hoped, I was still able to play many games that met and exceeded my expectations of the system's ability to process graphics.
