Summary: I had a PS3 250gb slim, but the disc reader laser went bad. So I got a used PS3 160gb slim, the price is decent I guess, cost me $210 even with the warranty. I got home opened the box (box was a plain white box with PS3 handwritten).
Summary: I got the 360 shortly after launch, then picked up the slim 160 GB PS3 about 2 years ago. It was definitely a good move getting it when I did - the price had finally dropped enough for me to grab the console for $250 and the list of exclusives had finally become way too tempting to resist!
Summary: The PS3 works perfectly for me, no overheating or disk scratching. My only problem with the PS3 is the PS store. I downloaded four episodes of DBZ, and when I tried to watch them, my PS3 said that I had to renew my liscense.
Summary: PS3 is still a great console, and with the slim and price drop it's getting a lot more attention, and fast. The console has a great game library of original exclusive titles as well as a great library of non-exclusives like Call of Duty or The Elder Scrolls series.
Pros: Great games with HD graphics that looks spectacular., Great new look, slimmer is better., Blu-Ray, Great apps such as Netflix., Controller feels great in the hands (still) yet smaller than the Xbox's.
Cons: XMB is still there, it seems like a cluttered and boring menu (still) and there's not much customization compared to say the Xbox 360., No HDMI cable included (Expected, but still disappointing).
Pros: Awesome Exclusive Games, Free PSN Membership, Blu Ray Disc Player, Small & Light, Replaceable Hard Drive, Millions of Users, No Battery Pack on Controller, No External Power Supply, Click Buttons, User Friendly XMB
Cons: No In Game Music allowed, No Backwards Compatibility, Hard Drives are expensive, In Game Menus are slow, Updates cant run in background, Downloads don't finish when console is off, Downloading/installing happen separately, No Interactive online Experience
"Sony Made a Slim without trimming the great features!"

Summary: I Think that the PS3 Is a very good console. I Will not judge it over the Xbox 360 because everybody has their opinions. But I Will judge Sony, for they will perish to Xbox Users. Why? Sony believes their products should have a 10 year life span. The PS3 Was made in 2006.
Pros: Fun, Easy To Use, PSN Membership Is Free, Internet Browser, Online features, Great Sony Exclusive Games, TV/Movie Features are Epic!
Cons: Way too many updates in one season, Sometimes Freezes, Bricks when you least expect it, 4.0 Update is a disaster, No PS4 Soon because Sony believes in a 10 Year Life Span. The PS3 Began in 2006.
Summary: More Value for the money you pay for this all round entertainment gadget. Only hiccup... It does not play 50Hz BD contents (My experience is with LIFE Blu-ray set UK edition) Though your BD50Hz disc is region free (ie.
Summary: Graphics are outstanding and the interface via HDMI was very easy and quick to get the system up and running. Using the internal browser to access the internet was a plus however there seems to be a browser problem trying to access AT&T's yahoo email.
