Excerpt: We have this machine, this is our second one. The first one broke when it was knocked off the bottom shelf of our TV Stand. A total fall of about 3 inches. Broke the eye, and we had to replace the machine. All around good machine, but very easily breakable!!
Pros: Nice graphics in videos not in the gameplay. Good 1 player games it has a lot of games and the controller is cool
Cons: In the online gameplay it sucks try to play socom 2 online a lot of gliches and a horrible lagg ******* cheaters in the ps2 and the videolagg in some games such as Socom2 and resident evil outbreak and Damn it loads all the time no like the xbox this one

Pros: Huge catalog of games. Vertical or Horizontal storage. Somewhat mediocre network play. Looks like the back of an 1980s stereo system.
Cons: A lot of lousy games. Most good games are ported to the other two systems anyway. Crazy expensive controllers and memory cards. DVD player is pretty low quality. Graphics can't hold up to GC or XBX.
Pros: As most people pointed out, this system has the best overall lineup. I can name at least a couple of GREAT games for every genre. I think that people undervalue this aspect and this is what lead to Sony's victory over the Nintendo 64 in the console wars o
Cons: I have friends who have had problems with their PS 2 and Sony hasn't been too great at helping them out. Admittedly, XBox has done a better job with their XBox Live as well. Four controller ports seems to be a necessary these days for multiplayer action w
