Summary: When I bought this it said it was used but still good but when I received it, it looked good on the outside but was broken. It wouldn't play any disc, PS, PS2, or DVD tried all three and when checked out found out the laser was fried. I'm not happy that I have to spend more money to fix it.
Pros: The PS2 is better looking than the XBox and has a larger selection of titles. Additionally, it supports DVD out of the box.
Cons: The PS2 costs $149 out of the box, plus $99 for a HDD, plus $30 for a multitap, plus $15 for a memory card, plus $30 for a network adapter. After all these purchases, you would have a product that is close to an Xbox but still inferior (because of perfor
Cons: only two controller ports. you think sony would have learned that gamers want four controller ports, i mean even a nintendo 64 has four controller ports. No Hard Drive, Bad graphics, bad sound and low power.
Pros: A much wider library of games available than any other system. Gran Turismo 4 and Kingdom hearts series (final fantasy sucks now) ummm thats about it.
Cons: Has become too commercialized, alot of ps2 fans say that it has the best games but no it has the most games. Breaks very easily again showing how commercialized the system has gotten since its big success with the ps1, they dont seem to care about the co
Pros: I love the game titles. That is the one thing I miss about this system.
Cons: It stops working for no apparent reason. My family has bought three, all of which broke at some point (these systems were not abused). I went with an XBox just looking for a reliable system, even with fewer titles.
Summary: Well then after careful consideration, I only have one question ? Does any body know if they make Playstation 2 toilet paper ? Toilet paper with little PS2`s on it ? Because the Idea of Play station was always been at BETA standerd , they didn`t even think up a new look control ? Honestly , that Toilet Paper idea is a good one , how else can you flush PS2 down the Toilet because thats just what it deserves. its Time to Get an X BOX !!!
Summary: Back in '95 when Playstation was released, it was the coolest thing to date. Lighting fast gameplay, sharp graphics, it couldn't get any better. Then, here comes PS2. Even better gameplay, graphics, and features. I've had my PS2 since 2001. It worked fine unti mid-2002. Then I started to get the usual disc-read error, and now, even a brand new game takes ages to get to work. As far as I know, Playstation 2 is a waste of money.
