Summary: This is my 1st Play Station. It is different from the Xbox (I have 3). One person recommend that I purchase a memory card. So I did. I like very much the thin design. I like it. I now have 2 games.
This is our second one. We finally wore the first one out.

Summary: Some of the best kids games came out for the playstation 2, and since the playstation 3 is not backwards compatible, we had to try to get another one of these when ours finally started acting up (after an obscene amount of use over the years). I was so thrilled to find a brand new one of these on Amazon. It came in 2 days brand new in the box and I got a warranty. So cool.
Summary: I just got my PS2 Slim in yesterday and I am blown away. I was cautious that these were still advertised as brand new with Prime shipping. It is almost too good to be true. Thankfully the unit I received was brand new. It felt like I had just gone down to BestBuy and picked up a new console. The box was dust free as was everything inside. If you are looking for a brand new PS2 this is a great place to pick one up!
Summary: I originally received a Playstation 2 as an early Christmas gift over ten years ago. Through high school and college, it continued to do its duty, despite losing the ability to play DVDs, CDs, and PS1 games after only a year of use. This holiday break, as I had some free time on my hands, I went to boot the old boy up, but sadly, he wasn't havin' it. It was then that I read that production had ceased for Playstation 2 consoles on January 4, 2013. What to do?
Summary: The PS2 is somewhat notorious for mechanical failure, so it stands to reason the slim versions with less protection on the lazer-reader would be more susceptible. I picked up a used copy, not too beat up. The one I got can't read some disks that I'm sure a new fat one could, disks with minor or almost non-existent damage. But most of the time it does, so I guess it's okay. The silver color is okay, I guess.
Summary: When the PS2 came in it was obviously dropped and damaged. The power button was sunken in and case was seperated at the power button. Also the tab for the cd cover that tells the Playstation it is closed was missing so it would not start up any games. I highly doubt this model was tested. I had to open up the PS2 case reset the power button. While inside the case found the tab for the cd cover thankfully and super glued it on.
