Summary: I am very pleased with this product. It does exactly what the manufacturer says it does. However, I am finding it to be very frustrating on the internet. I know it's not a computer, it would be nice to at least be able to enter chat rooms other than the ones on Seganet.com.
Pros: The game graphics are terrific.
Cons: It is to slow and limiting when used on the internet.
Summary: A console as solid as any of the "Next Gen" consoles. 128bit, decent amount of RAM, good upgrade functions, superb graphics and audio. And it's easy to program as well. The only reason, and it's "The Reason", why it failed was due to it not being able to play DVD's.
Enough good games available cheaply to make it worthwhile

Summary: Yes Sega are halting the production of the DC. Yes the games will dry up in the next year or so. But wait! There are at least a dozen games including Soul Calibur, DOA2, Crazy Taxi, Virtua Tennis, Sega GT, Le Mans 24hr, that are worth having no matter what system you have.
Summary: The Dreamcast was and still is a great gaming system. The controller was very innovative in design (though a bit uncomfortable) and functions as it allowed for various peripherals to be added, Much like the N64 but including 2 slots instead of 1.
Summary: Well really all to say is WOW!!! the sega dreamcast definetly has my vote even though it was made in 1999.Ive had mine for six years now and even though it doesent compare to the grapics standard of an xbox 360 or ps3 the console rally has loads to offer.
Summary: Many people thought of the dreamcast as a console only useful for hitting people with. I can't see why! The first console (correct me if Im wrong) with internet access, a wide array of games ranging from all diffrent types and quality.
