Summary: I am very pleased with this product. It does exactly what the manufacturer says it does. However, I am finding it to be very frustrating on the internet. I know it's not a computer, it would be nice to at least be able to enter chat rooms other than the ones on Seganet.com. In conclusion buy this system for the games not for serious internet use.
Pros: The game graphics are terrific.
Cons: It is to slow and limiting when used on the internet.
Summary: This is the best value on the market for video games. It's priced at $149.99 (that's half the price of Playstation 2) and it has the best games anywhere! Graphics are equal if not better than PS2! Online head to head gaming exclusive to this system! Best sports games ever!
Pros: RESONABLE PRICE/INTERNET ACCESS/EXCELLENT GRAPHICS & SOUNDS/LARGE DIVERSE LIBRARY OF EXCLUSIVE GAMES
Summary: This is a much better deal for the price than the PS2. Among the better games on PS2 is Madden 2001. The Dreamcast has a very comparable game in NFL 2K1. Both are great. The difference is that you can play NFL 2K1 online. The Dreamcast is selling for only $99.99 now, where the PlayStation 2 is $299.99.
Pros: The graphics on many of the games are as good as anything the PS2 has so far and you can play online
Cons: Not enough memory on the VMUs (Visual Memory Units), which are memory cards with small screens
Summary: This is the best basketball game on any system. NBA live does not compare in terms of fun or gameplay. If NBA 2k1 is combined with a franchise mode like the one found in Madden it would be an even better game
Pros: Best Graphics, and gameplay.
Cons: Franchise mode does not allow you to use created players.
Summary: It's hard to put into words just how special the Dreamcast was. Miles ahead of anything else that came before, it was the first console that really wowed me. Seeing Soul Calibur in action for the first time was mind-blowing. In it's all too short lifespan it played host to some of the greatest games ever made - Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia and PSO will always hold a special place in my memories. This was Sega, and gaming as a whole, at it's very best.
