Summary: Console is really good! First the beautiful design of this console , hear Nvidia done really well. Second thing that it is Nvidia , so all games that are portaded already are going on this console really good, no lags, beautiful textures , minimum FPS that i saw was 27 in Half-Life 2. If you are gamer this thing will be really good for playing games away from your computer! You can stream computer games on your console! I think this is really good thing to buy!
Summary: I love this thing. I was not about to buy it until it dropped in price. And now that it is $200, I'm so glad I did. This is NOT just a weird way to play games streamed from your PC. Why they ever chose to market it that way is beyond comprehension. While a cool feature for anyone who owns compatible games and hardware and has a desire to play on a 4.8 inch screen instead of their 17 inch laptop, it is so obscure that I doubt anyone uses it, especially given the...
Summary: You won't find anything better for the price. Awesome for emulators and android games. Controller is over the top good. I actually prefer it over the xbox 360 controller. Great battery life and you'll forget that the word "lag" even exists when you're using this thing. And Tegra enhanced graphics are great you will never see any low frame rates or poor graphics. Lastly, awesome software, stock android and it gets pretty timely updates!
Summary: This device cannot be all things to all people. Fortunately, the engineers picked a few things and did those things extremely well. It is Comfortable to hold, Very fast, Easy to adjust the screen to a comfortable viewing angle, Well supported by NVidia. The available update brings great features. Cheap. It has Batteries that last a long time (all day), Great sounding speakers, Great controller buttons that are easily mapped to app controls. Miracast.
Fantastic. If you love games, this is your device.

Summary: Love the shield!!! It is a good quality product. It is a little heavy but I'm not really going for portability. I don't need to put this thing in my pocket. I mostly like to play the onlive app on it. If you have good wifi, this is a great device to hook up to onlive or steam. I love the android market that is available for it. Overall this device takes the cake in my opinion. No other portable device will be better than this.

Summary: Nvidia did an amazing job with the construction of the shield. It feels very heavy and sturdy in your hands, and the buttons all have a pronounced click and feedback. Device doesn't get very hot with the front and back ventilation, either. It took awhile to get the gamestreaming feature set up, but eventually, I discovered my router's firewall was causing the shield to lose connection to my gaming PC after a few minutes of playtime. Flipped it off and works like a charm.
Summary: the question when deciding whether or not to buy a nvidia shield should never be about the quality of the product, it's outstanding. the question is: do you want what the shield has to offer? the shield is constantly being updated, and new features are being added, however it is still an android system at its core, so let's talk about that first. the android marketplace isn't really structured to produce high quality games.
Summary: Hello everyone. I currently own a 3DS XL, PS Vita, and now a NVIDIA Shield. The NVIDIA Shield is beyond my expectations. I always wondered if it was a good device or not but NVIDIA has come along way. This device stream all my games from Steam OS and some from Origin. The frame rate is unbelievable. The battery, sound, portability, screen and all of the above are A+. It also has the NVIDIA Grid which allow the player access games on the go from a server.
