Excerpt: Nunchuks are required for most Wii games so we were limited to what we could play without them. We have had a lot of trouble with Nunchuks over the past 18 months. They just seem to stop working for no apparent reason and the only solution is to buy new ones. We have tried taping the Nunchuk/Controller connection and putting new batteries in the Controller but this only works some of the time.
Excerpt: I own the orignal Wii fit and Wii Fit Plus. I have used it off and on for a couple of years now. The program has several different ways you can exersize, yoga, strength, araboics and balance games. The Yoga is pretty good you get more of a work out than you think. I have taken some yoga over the years and find this to be chalanging and very similiar to what was in the classes. What is missing is the feeback from an instructor.
Excerpt: So what can I say? Nintendo has a long standing legacy of great consoles and great games. I had everything from the NES, SNES to the Nintendo 64. So enter the Wii into our latest generation. I really don't like it much, when compared to it's competitors, Sony's Playstation III and Microsoft's Xbox 360. The graphics are really nice, but I just cannot stand the joysticks! I can't get use to the way it feels, and how I have to actually get physical when I'm playing.
Excerpt: It's disappointing to see a product that revolutionized video games go down like this and get beat up by the PS3 Move and Kinect. When the Wii first came out, I was impressed but it turned out to be a console that's only fun when guests are over. Instead of releasing more innovations or additions to the Wii, Nintendo decided to release more colors in hopes of gaining more sales. Now they are in third place again with Microsoft and Sony in the lead.
Excerpt: In a word, Gimmick. The nintendo wii is essentially a toy, with only a few above average games and ALLOT of overpriced, simplistic, terrible games. The games that are good are amazing, but after you've played them your left wondering what to do with them. You can keep it for the once in awhile you play them, or sell it and never play it again. Now if your new to gaming, you're probably going to love this, but a hardcore gamer will be left wishing for more.
Summary: Well this system had no effort put into it when it was made. It had the same motion controls from duck hunt in 1985 and gamecube graphics. It was a pretty sloppy system. It has gotten better graphics, and the wii motion plus is alot better. The only reason I haven't sold sold it is because of the nintendo only games like Legend of Zelda, Metroid, ect. I would recommend a PS3 instead.
Summary: The Wii is a great system. It can be played for hours without overheating too much (it'll get warm, but not scolding), it casn access the Internet, stream Netflix (if you want), and it allows you to download old games that aren't sold anymore (Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario, etc.) The only downside to this great console is the fact that Nintendo allowed third party developers to make 95% of the games for it. I mean, REALLY?!?!
Summary: this system/console is like for small people when your little and stuff but i mean all the games systems are advancing like the Wii for example (GREATEST GAME IN THE WORLD) Xbox 360 has kinect which looks a lot like the top of the wii for controllers (etc) and you can move and it will move with you! I WILL NOT EVEN MENTION THE AWFUL AWFUL PS3!!!
