Nintendo Wii Mario Kart Wii Pack ( Black)

CNET
23 August 2011
  • Summary: For families and lovers of casual games, the even more affordable Wii still represents the best console bundle value in terms of dollars spent, but it's also the system that's first on deck to be outdated. With the announcement of the Wii U, the Wii is a declining console.
  • Pros: The Nintendo Wii Hardware Bundle (with Mario Kart) has a lot going for it: clean, accessible design; a great library of family-friendly games; a still-iconic controller design that can be used for motion games or more traditional button-based games; Virtual Console library and WiiWare games that ...
  • Cons: Online connectivity is hampered by closed-garden design; graphics and video playback cap at 480p; other than Netflix, the Wii has no other video-streaming or entertainment offerings, and can't play CDs or DVDs; its graphics continue to look ever more outdated compared with rival consoles, and the...

Nintendo Wii Review

Digitaltrends
4 May 2008
  • Conclusion: Serious gaming enthusiasts can subtract about 0.2-0.5 points from our official review score for the first six months. But come late 2007, you can add that back and then some. A fantastic effort that you’ll have to try firsthand to believe, the Wii finally sees Nintendo return to form.

  • Excerpt: I have been playing Nintendo branded consoles for quite sometime. My first experience with anything Nintendo was ages ago when an old girlfriend of mine got an 8-bit NES in her house via her little brother and we played Duck Hunt into the night.

Expert Review

ConsoleGaming.eu
3 October 2015
  • Conclusion: On paper, FIFA 16 has taken major strides. The defensive AI is good (although too good when it comes to interceptions), goalkeepers are much more receptive and scoring goals feels more rewarding due to the difficult nature of attacking. My issue is that everything just feels a little unpolished.
