Summary: Original Review: Just wanted to add some support for this really fun console. After reviewing the expected details of the PS4 and the newest member of the Xbox family I decided to go back and give Nintendo a second chance, they kind of lost me with the wii.
Buyer beware, the Wii U already has an expiration date.

Summary: A fantastic piece of hardware that is ultimately let down by a limited library of games, bizarre design choices, and Nintendo's inability to work with third party developers. Not to mention the games that are available are insanely overpriced.
I could not find any "active" games like "GoVacation" or "Sports Resort"

Summary: Upgrading from Wii, I was expecting this to be an exciting console with backwards compatibility with Wii. How disappoints I was after spending almost 2 hours updating, setting up passwords, parental controls just to play one game.
All I can say is that if you enjoy games like Grand Theft Auto V and Battlefield

Summary: I haven't actually purchased this console as of yet, but I have been borrowing my friends Wii-U, in order to determine whether or not to get one. All I can say is that if you enjoy games like Grand Theft Auto V and Battlefield, don't get a Wii-U.
Summary: My son saved up for one of these and bought it for himself in late August 2014. It needed about half a day to run updates on first installation and could not be used for anything else during this time.
Summary: thought I'd give nintendo the benefit of the doubt and buy one of these. Straight away the drudgery of updating the system and the poor design of the user interface and user experience kicks in. Then the performance of the box disappoints by being distinctly last gen.
Summary: The Wii U that I bought as a present for my friend's kid doesn't read any Wii disks! Update, restart and etc. did not help! Unfortunately, to send it back will cost us a price of new Wii U, therefore we r going to keep it playing just Wii U disks.
