Summary: This experience was awful. The title of item was altered after purchase and the item was tampered with. Product box was NOT " Brand new, never used." The items box was opened and contents were removed from what the description stated. The original box was written on in a very poor and and confusing manor with circles and lines through the items displayed on the box. Even if the seller had stated that it would be "Console only.
Summary: I have 4 children and each person plays off their own sign-on yet for this game (Mario Bros U) on the Wii-U they have access to each others games and 1 can't even have their own save file as the game is limited to just 3. With the storage capacity and ability to save items under individual users, totally unacceptable.
Pros: Gamepad was a good idea, though not implemented properly. Can play original wii games, but wii games are only 480p and look horrible on hd televisions.
Cons: -Gamepad doesn't sync/connect properly at all times- -CPU is too slow to port some popular ps3 /xbox2 games -GPU is a few generations behind ps4 /xbox3 -Slow RAM and no internal hard drive large enough to store 1 gme -cannot play dvd, cds, or blue ray.
Summary: I absolutely just hate the way this console works. The controller is big and clunky and hard to maneuver I am sorry I purchased it. Nintendo will probably quit making decent games for this like the Wii.
Summary: I bought for my son as a Xmas present without realising that these systems are Regionally coded and in PAL and NTSC!! So it is useless for him as he lives in Hong Kong. If you wind up with the wrong Region it is a) YOUR Problem b) Not Fixable. Bottom line is you end up with a very expensive highly inefficient plastic DOOR-STOP! Someday JUSTICE will reign in the virtual united world but that is someday not now...
Summary: So I bought this pack with 2 cool games, mostly because of Lego City, because my son loves Lego but he already have many bricks, so I thought to give him this magic city where he can play with all his lego city sets on this fantastic game, which seems to be exclusive. So Santa Claus gave him this gift on Xmas and his eyes almost pop out :) It was a good day to him. Next day the console didn't turn on with the blinking red light.
Summary: I got a great deal for $249.00, Was a Christmas present for the kids. Kids did not notice the scratches all over the console, Then My son put in his first game and was not able to read the disc, and would not eject the disc and needs to go in for warranty repair. Very disappointed because this was there big gift from Santa. I will not buy anything off Amazon again.
Summary: Due to amazon's deliberately misleading advertisement for this item I purchased the ZombieU premium pack after weeks of complaining they tell me there advert is incorrect but they have still have not fixed there misleading advert. I will not be using amazon for any purchases over a couple of £'s as you can't trust there adverts.
Summary: I should preface this review by saying I am a HUGE Nintendo fan. I started with the NES, moved to the super NES, have a GameCube, N64, Wii and now a Wii U. The Wii U is probably the worst realized product Nintendo has ever released. Loading times, just to get to the main menu, are the longest of ANY Nintendo system, more than twice as long to load a game vs the Wii. Once the main menu is loaded there is a delay of at least another minute or so to get the game going.
Summary: I've rarely been so dissatisfied with a consumer product. First, don't get fooled by the fact that it says on the box it includes two controllers, there's only one. Then, right out of the box it won't do anything without a 2h+ download update. Apparently trying to exit the process (as I tried to do) may brick the device. Fortunately, it's so painfully slow (tens of second delay when switching apps) that it hadn't gone into critical state when I unplugged mine.
