When these first came out they sold for well over the £100 mark. For this price you got the Console, all cables and Leads,2 Controllers and 1 Game. There was a couple of choices of games but not that great a choice. Read more

Few game systems were so loved by their owners, while simultaneously being decried by outsiders. It's okay, us GC owners knew the truth. Our console wasn't just a kiddie system, it was a joy. First off, I have owned at least 6 consoles (you can see them on my profile), and the Gamecube was the pinnacle of controller design. I have never held a controller as ergonomic as this one. And lets not forget who pioneered the wireless controller. Read more

a great game system, especially if you are on a budget. almost everything is great on this systen, including its small size, pretty good graphics, fun games, controllers feel good when held, small game disks and memory cards, a totally portable system, and so much more!! there arent really any cons to this system, unless you want to play dvd's and cd's on this system. other than that, this system is perfect!! When the Gamecube first came out, I didn't really think much of it..... with that Purple colour that was getting most the limelight not even being an Ultra cool iMac style see through plastic kind, which I reckon makes it now look a bit prematurely dated compared even the other colours it's available in (like black, for instance... which apparently was also available when launched, but the Purple one seemed to get pictured more). And then there was the Game disks...... Read more

Though it looks like a toy, don’t be fooled: the Nintendo GameCube is a powerful video game console that rightly deserves its place among the other next-generation game systems.
