Travels well for the kids
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I bought one when they first came out for my kids. They are great to have around especially for long road trips. The main complaint about these are they were a little hard to see at times. The kids love them have enjoyed playing them. Although, when they are in the car they have to play with no sound. Listening to the sounds of the games drive me crazy. We tried getting the earphones, but for the expense and when they get broken, it is not worth it.
Excerpt: This system originated from the Gameboy in which was black and white, and about the size of your 2 hands put together, however now that the new millenia has come around things have shrunk drastically into this Gameboy Advance SP its backlit - what everyone wanted, and portable, the only handheld thta can beat it would be the PSP and DS
Excerpt: The system is reported as having cracking issues , I have never seen a cracked one . My older friends and I have had the system since it first came out and never seen any problems like it . For preteens it is a wonderful time passer (ie. in the car ) The game titles available stem from very young to the young at heart , so just about everyone can find a game they can enjoy . They even have some adaptions of older games for it .
Excerpt: The GBA is a small pocket size console with a lot of games that is good for traveling. If only the screen were a bit brighter it would be perfect. On some games with dark graphics, it is extremely difficult to see the detail.
Excerpt: fun to play, this system is get for those long car rides that you hate taking, it is good to play why sitting in your living room and someone else wants to watch someting you don't,this system can be played with batteries or battery pack that can be charing while you play.this system plays regular game boy games as well as game boy advance.
Excerpt: I first got the Game Boy Advanced roughly a year after it came out, that was of course when my brothers finally put the thing down and I could actually play a game on it. I did really like it, especially the fact that you could play older games Game Boy games on it instead of having to splurge to buy the newer smaller games.
Excerpt: This is a great system for on the go, and if you want to have a quick one person game. The screen is super small, but has a great resolution for the games that you will play on it. It is small enough to fit in your pocket and has a great battery life for playing games. I used the system when waiting in the doctors office, or at the movies before the movie would start. Or waiting in line, like at Disneyland.
Excerpt: I Totally loove the Gameboy Advance SP....there is a variety of games that go with it. IT is very portable and lightweight. I've had mine for about 3 years and I'm and now 15 years old! I still play it all the time!! My gameboy still works like the day I got it. Only fault is that there are a few sratches on the top of it and some of the color had wiped off by the buttons....but its a great portable game system!!
Excerpt: The Nitendo Gameboy Advanced SP is a good portable console. It has a back lit display, nice graphics, and good platform games. Nitendo has some good platform games like pokemon and super mario which helps with the digital like graphics. It is really good on the go, very portable, small enough to fit in your pocket, long battery life, pretty loud sound, good platform games, a variety selection of colors, and a sleek and simple folding design.
Gameboy SP is a fairly good machine, though breaks easily.

Excerpt: I had a Gameboy SP for a long time. It was definitely something very fun for me. I used it all the time playing games such as Pokemon and Fire Emblem. I found that it was a very good way for me to kill a lot of down time. I know, I know. I probably should have been out doing things more productive. Well, I did all that too, and still had time for my Gameboy. In fact, it was great for longs trips in the back seat.
