Summary: I picked up 2 of these black Recharged Refurbished from 2 different stores during the 49.99 sale. They come sealed in a box from the factory. Both looked and play brand new, they were even plastic wrapped to hold in place. All of the used systems I looked at, have scratches and marks. Everything about a Recharged is better then used except one thing. The recharged systems are missing the gba slot cover.
Summary: I got this ds lite this past saturday from my Mom who played it very little and didn't want it anymore. It is like new and lots of fun to play my few GBA games I have on it.It makes GBA games look alot better. The screen is alot brighter than the GBA SP I have. The graphic's are good for most games remember this is a portable system not a console so it can't ever have the memory or graphic capabilities on a console but it is exellent.I love it currently playing Sid Meiers...
Great for everyone in the family regardless of age or experience

Excerpt: The Nintendo DS has been sweeping the gaming world by storm since its release a few years ago. It sells more on a month-to-month basis than any other videogame system or handheld under the sun. Yes, even more than the Wii. The Lite version of the Nintendo DS keeps all of its features intact, such as backwards compatibility with GameBoy Advance (GBA) games, brighter screens, much better-looking, and more compact.
Excerpt: I purchased my DS lite used less than a year ago, and I have to say, I love this little machine! It really is a lot of fun, and has a great many titles available for it. I never owned the original Nintendo DS model, nor do I have the DSi or DSXL. So I am not able to really compare the DS lite to the other Nintendo DS models, but I can explain what makes the DS lite such a great portable gaming device.
Excerpt: Bottom line, I'm addicted to this system. I take it everywhere with me, and use it to pass time with everything... waiting for a table at a restaurant, doctor's appointment, any type of waiting, I've got my Nintendo DS Lite. Unlike the new DSi, I can load my old Game Boy Advanced games on here and play thousands of different games... (unfortunately I don't have the money to buy thousands of games, but if I did, I would have it!
