Summary: Nintendo is the leading game company in the world because they are not afraid to jump into the unknown. The Nintendo 3DS is the first game console ever to apply 3D viewing on such a small device. We are pleased to see that the 3D portion of the handheld device works quite well, but we would like to see the viewing range from left to right increase so you can play while lying down or doing other things.
Pros: The 3DS offers 3D gaming, an excellent online community and backwards compatibility.
Cons: In 3D mode, the battery life is quite short.
Summary: On early evidence the Nintendo 3DS looks like living up to the hype, fulfilling its promise of glasses-free 3D gaming that really works, offering the kind of visual experience yet to be seen on a handheld. But what will surprise many is just how impressive the sometimes jaw-dropping augmented reality skills and motion sensor controls really are. There's huge potential.
Conclusion: The machine's battery life might be laughable and it might be a while before we get to play great 3DS games but we love the Nintendo 3DS. And it's not just because it features a lot of fancy new technologies, either. In the end, for gamers, it's less about the tech specs and more about the experience, and oh boy does the Nintendo 3DS promise us whole new ways to enjoy games. We mean, hey, how can anybody not get excited about the 3DS?
Pros: 3D; augmented reality games and StreetPass are fun and new; built-in games are pretty fun.
Cons: Needs more 3DS games; battery life comparable to a mayfly's; region-locked games may be a Âdowner to some.
Excerpt: Nintendo's follow-up to their highly successful Nintendo DS & DS Lite comes their first real attempt at 3-dimensions in their latest handheld console, aptly named the 3DS. The 3DSs visuals and design are very much simiilar to its predecessor, retaining its dual screen approach, with the added nub for analog precision, along side the conventional D-pad.
Conclusion: Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask er endnu en perfekt kombinationen af gode hovedbrud og en god historie, flot pakket ind i det allerede velkendte interface i verdensklasse. Opdateringen til 3DS har gjort undervrker for den grafiske prsentation, men ellers er alt, som det plejer.
Conclusion: Alors, on achète la 3DS ou pas ?
