Summary: This product arrived to me not too long after being ordered and came in good condition, the console it self hasn't received any scratches or damage at all and is not stained. But it came with no wires whatsoever, and I was only informed that it lacked a controller, not wires, therefore I expected it to arrive with the wires. Because it has no wires, I cannot tell if the console runs okay, although, from what I've seen so far, I'm sure it will.
Excerpt: Im 1) a huge fan of Nintendo and 2) a huge fan of retro and vintage consoles and strongly believe that this console is an excellent addition to anyones collection as its a piece of video game history becauses it was one of the consoles that started a boom in the video game business. You can get them relatively inexpensively nowadays but if you are thinking of getting one then I would get one as soon as possible before they become rarer and start to cost more.
Pros: Its a retro console and the nostalgia gives you a real thrill when your playing the original Mario .
Cons: Well obviously it's old and the graphics and sound are terrible compared to today's standards .
Retro gaming with the console that really started it all!

Excerpt: Though it is 2011, I have just purchased my first NES console in the original box and everything. There are many reasons thats this console still stands tall today. One reason being it's durabilty, the console is over 23 years old and still works absolutely fine, I don't know how many Xbox 360's I've went through. There is an extensive library of games to choose from including the most famous gaming character of all Mario!
Pros: easy to play, extremely durable, great selection of games, great collectable
Excerpt: When I bought the NES console back in the day it came with 2 games on 1 cartridge. They were Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. Duck Hunt came with a Gaming Gun that hooked up to the NES to shoot of course Ducks. There was also a game that was part of Duck Hunt where you could shoot frisbies going into the sky.
Pros: It Opened the Door To Lots of People Who Are Still Playing Video Games
Cons: The Console Is Outdated and the Graphics and Sound Are Poor

Excerpt: Ok ok, this is NOT the first ever console but it is the first of the breed which we currently use. This really is a piece of gaming history and if you have one or can get one i suggest that you do. There are a number of serious good games for this platform including the original mario games as well as Zelda.
Excerpt: this was the very first console i ever played on and i loved it. it was so simple, small controls, cartridges ohh it was mint. my favourite games had to be the legend of zelda and duck hunt. the graphics werent very good of course because it was made in the 80's, i think it was nintendos first world wide console. duck hunt was exceptional, especially whn you hadc the gun to shoot the ducks.
Excerpt: I am 20 years old and in my life time there has not been many creations or inventions that i can think of that can be thought of very easily. Unless you include things like the internet or break throughs in human science then my life has been very dry when i comes to physical invention like the TV or the Light bulb!! But wait......
Excerpt: I first got 1 of these when I was only 3,and 15 years on and i still have a working piece of gaming history. The amount of games for this console is unbelievable such as Mario bros, Duck hunt and Paper boy the console only has 8bit graphics but you don’t need fancy graphics to make the games work they run on pure game play, and i miss that about gaming.
Pros: one of the best ever, the best game play ever too
Excerpt: Some people who read this might wonder why I think the NES is the best console whilst there are far more superior consoles on the market and it died out a long time since. One simple reason. The NES brings back a lot of good memories for me, the GREAT games. Remember super mario brothers 3 for a start? In my opinion, the arcade games are arguably better than the new games they bring out on fancy little discs.
