The Xbox 360 console is the worst console of it's generation.

Excerpt: Okay so lemme start off by saying this piece of junk was not cheap. It cost me over $300. The controllers are extremely uncomfortable and it barely has any good games. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. A month after I bought mine, IT GOT RRoD!!! For those of you that don't know what RRoD is, it's Red Ring of Death. It's a virus for the Xbox 360 and is EXTREMELY COMMON. I went to get it fixed and it cost me $20!!! Then, a few months later, it happened AGAIN!!!
Excerpt: A few years ago i purchased an xbox 360 elite for christmas. I ended up selling my wii, which in retrospect was worth it. But the xbox 360 has some problems... First off, you have to pay 50+ dollars to get a warranty, and not a life time warranty, but a year warranty. But, if you dont buy it within a month of purchase, then you cannot have one. Which i mean, if you are tight on cash, you can not afford it at the time, and want to have one, you cant get it.
Excerpt: I got this for xmas last year and was so excited. but when i set it up and started to play it died within a half hour. It burned up. The company wouldn't replace it and my mom had lost the store reciet so we were stuck with a product that didn't even work. waste of $200. me and my 12 year old son were so disapointed.

Excerpt: ebox360 is verry awsome in details and very fun to play on line. But when it comes to the actuwallsystem it sucks. I have had very bad luck luck with-the system not reading the disk. It will continually say Open tray not reading disk.so frustrating, I would like to through it sometimes. The good thing is the games you can buy for it the xbox are a good verity and terrific files and details to graphics if it works.Xbox 360 live is teriffic on line live.
Excerpt: Ok. My Overall Impression about the Xbox 360 Elite is that I am unimpressed and is somewhat worth buying. When the original xbox came out I thought it was ok , until I learned what it lacked. I couldn't play online for free like the PS3 and the Graphics were horrible. Then I later heard that the Xbox 360 Elite was going to come out. I was honestly thrilled and very anxious for this new system to hit the shelves.
Excerpt: If you're just getting into gaming, sure this is a good buy, but the Xbox 360 E is essentially a Slim but without some integral features that don't make sense to take out. With less hard drive space on board, installing games to decrease load times is going to be impossible for more than two games. You need 250gb, and it isn't cheap. The lack of optical audio means no surround sound, and they have even subtracted a USB port.
Summary: The console is sooooo much fun BUT mine has just given up the ghost after only 3 months despite taking extremely good care of it. It's in a well ventilated area and I only play for about an hour or so at a time when I get the chance. I thought long and hard before buying one having read a lot on the RROD (amongst other various issues).
Summary: Xbox 360 Elite Console (120 GB Hard Drive) The console is excellent in what it does but the noise of the thing which is like a little generator humming away under your screen is annoying. My console gave one red light and showing 'error 73' which microsoft said they will repair for £80 which isn't major but the thing is 14 months old!!!!
