Summary: I don't ever recommended getting a game system refurbished, especially an xbox out of experience. It won't last as long as a completely new one. You only save 50 bucks, which isn't worth it once it breaks again.
Pros: This is a awesome game system if gaming is all you plan on doing. I recommend a PS3 or Wii if you plan on using it for other reasons such as Netflix and Family fun games so you won't have to pay 60 dollars a year. But it's definitely the better system when it comes to playing video games, playing...
Cons: Mostly reviewing the detail page stating that you save 250 dollars. The system only costs 300 dollars in retail, not 500. Sorry Newegg, I just don't like one of my favorite internet shopping sites false advertising. Once this issue is fixed, delete this review.
Summary: The Elite from Xbox was the old body black with the 120GB drive. The title says it is a 250, the picture is of the new slimline and the "features" under details says it is a 320GB. I have never in my 5 years shopping on newegg seen an ad this messed up.
Summary: When I got this machine I hoped for the best... Just did it cuz I had a lot of games and I was not going to throw them away, so I had my leap of faith with it.... well i smashed my face in the ground when I landed.... I did not had the RROD but I got DVD-ROM issues...
Pros: Graphics, controller is nice.... Netflix streaming... but almost everything has that these days.... good game collections...
Cons: Well.... my machine is been with me like for 1 year and a few months, i barely used it till I got borderland... I started to play it all the time with friends and my box started messing up... The DVD drive gives me an error that cannot read any disk, then it says open tray and close it again... d...
Summary: Microsoft fixed it and it might make it back before Christmas. We will be selling this and getting a PS3. This was our first Elite and second old scgool 360. They all break. The product is junk at all ends!
Pros: It's the latest X-Box 360 and is very popular console
Cons: They still have problesm with red rings. Just under one year old our "Elite" got an "elite" 1 ring of red death!
Summary: still fighting with MS over this and will review back if they make this right or not.
Pros: system ok hard drive great
Cons: MICROSOFT!!!! could have bought 150 hard drive and got transfer cable for free. decided to get bundle with 250gig and microsoft want another 14 bucks for cable because i bought the console and not hard drive by itself.
Summary: It's quite a lucrative little business Xbox has, and while I think it's a neat toy charging for everything on top of needing a yearly subscription is irksome. They created Xbox Points which are basically like buying gift cards at a particular store, it's money that can only be spent on Xbox items.
Pros: I like the xbox 360 more than I thought I would.
Cons: Need Xbox Live Gold to use multiplayer portions of games. Need MS points to buy arcade items, and there's a lot of them. They charge for a lot of trivial stuff on xbox live, 10 dollars to change your gamertag. I bought the RE5 bundle, which was deactivated before I even received it. I had problem...
Cons: Last me about two weeks. Thought i had a good deal. Now i got the red ring of death and all i can do is just get a replacement of the same thing and then do it all over again...pathetic. Why would newegg send us stuff that doesn't even work??
Summary: Items like this will ruin Neweggs reputation
Pros: Looks nice
Cons: Free shipping to receive $16.50 to return broken unit. No microphone on xbox live. microsofts troubleshooter said its the unit thats bad and said it had an expired warranty. Returned to Newegg for a replacement, What will I get next ?
