Excerpt: Originally when I set up the Microsoft XBOX 360 Elite I did not have an HDMI cable to admire the true beauty of the game graphics. Luckily I found an HDMI cable at a garage sale for 50 cents! I highly recommend buying an HDMI cable (or ripping somebody off of one) if you have a compatible television. The graphics are insane! XBOX Live may cost you money but for $50 a year, its worth it for a one time payment.
The Jasper chip makes it a little less likely to self-destruct.

Excerpt: The new Xbox 360 chipset, dubbed "Jasper" makes these systems a lot less likely to overheat and self-destruct than when the console launched. There's still tension in the air sometimes as people turn on their 360s, but most can rest a little easier. When the Elite initially launched, it's biggest selling points were: 120GB Harddrive! HDMI port! Better odds of getting the Falcon chipset (the upgrade before Jasper)! Um, it's black! Looking at the market now?
Excerpt: i love this system out of the three ( the nintendo wii, the ps3 and the xbox 360.) the most. because this system has the best original games and the coolest games. i know the online cost 50 bucks a year when the other systems don't cost anything and that sucks but their online is the best and has the most players. some of thier games are mass effect mass effect 2 eventually mass effect 3, dragon age origins, kotor kotor 2.
Excerpt: The Xbox 360 is in my opinion the best gaming system on the market. The games are the best out of the three major consoles (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360). Also the controller is the most comfortable and can be wireless. A built in blu-ray player would be nice but is not a deal breaker. If you are an avid movie watcher I would reccommend the PS3 for that reason. The system can be loud at times and if it breks Microsoft will be very cooperative to fix it for you.
Excerpt: OK so lets move past all that console wars BS there is a reason to own each of the consoles. You will deny yourself unique gaming experiences by only having one. Ok so here it goes. This is a great iteration of a beloved console machine, The 120 gbs is more than enough for anything you throw at it unless you love to download full 360 games at will. The controller is expertly designed ( except for fighting games but thats fixed if you buy the new controller).
Excerpt: Xbox 360 Elite is amazing! It is definately a step up from the original Xbox. With the Elite Xbox 360 system, it is a sleek black style with two usb ports. The system comes with one wireless control than runs off of two double a batteries. You can also buy rechargable abtteries specifically made for the wireless controller. All you do is plug it into one of the usb ports on the front of the machine and it actually charges as you are playing.
Excerpt: Wow... the Xbox 360. I have been a fan for years. I was first introduced to the original xbox and quickly made the switch from playstation 2. To me with the built in hard drive and all it was just the obvious choice. Then it happened... they launched the Xbox 360. It was beautiful... all dressed out in white. The games were intense and the graphics were something to envy.
Excerpt: I own both this system and a newer slim PlayStation 3, and I must say I used to play the Xbox 360 the most out of the both of them. The Dashboard interface is easy to use, playing online is easy and the addition of the ability to play streaming Netflix movies on the console have made it almost a requirement to any entertainment center.
Excerpt: Xbox - 360 Elite Gaming Console - We won the Xbox 360 Elite Console with the lego batman package at my husband's company christmas party last year. Everyone has enjoyed playing the Xbox 360 Elite Console. My husband enjoys it as much if not more than the children. They love that they can play games online with friends. We also use the Xbox 360 Elite Console to watch movies, thank you netflix!
