Excerpt: In 1998 they finally released the revolutionary Gameboy Color to the market. Instead of the usual blurry black and white screen bullcrap we had to put up with all these years we now get to see several new Gameboy Color games in (get this) full colour! Is this worth picking up though especially in this day and age? The Gameboy Colour itself is just that; it's a old fashion Gameboy with the ability to play certain games in colour.

Excerpt: If your child is learning to read and is into technology, this is a great tool! Get a game with dialogue between the characters-- they'll be forced to try to figure out the conversations-- hopefully, with you nearby to help but not close enough for you to be doing all the reading. My son was into Pokemon when it first took the USA by storm-- he was a 1st grader and wanted to play the Pokemon GameBoy game. Well, I wouldn't read each line to him, so he was very...

They can be found for reasonable prices, with a variety of games to choose from. Easy to keep in a pocket or purse. Now that they have the new Ninetendo DS Lite they have long forgotten about the trusty Game Boy. They only had a few games a mario game and something generic I cant remember but they played very well never any problems with it.

Excerpt: The Gameboy Color hand-held unit is outdated. There have been several models released since the original portable video game player. You would think that the * Gameboy Color * would not be a popular toy anymore. Gameboy Color , however, is still a bit hit. It is less expensive than the newer, more advanced systems. * Gameboy Color * is popular among beginning players. The button functions are easy to figure outand the games are fairly simple to play.
Excerpt: The Nintendo Game Boy Color is probably my favorite of all of the handheld gaming systems that exist to this day. And it also may have taken more enjoyable hours out of my entire life than my xbox 360. The Nintendo Game Boy Color comes in a beautiful pallet of solid colors and a nice screen to look at (without a backlight which most handhelds have these days that can damage one's eyes). It only takes two double A batteries and the Game Boy Color is ready to go.
