  • Excerpt: The Nintendo e-Reader mixes paper trading cards with innovative technology to create a must-have Game Boy Advance (GBA) peripheral. Users slide cards encoded with Dot Code technology to load games and add-ons (power-ups, sounds, and so forth). You can transmit game code to another GBA or a Nintendo GameCube (GC) using cables from Nintendo. Animal Crossing for the GC uses the e-Reader to import new mini-games and items from trading cards that enhance game play.
