Summary: I purchased this item online despite reviews commenting about it being wrongly described. It clearly states this is a kit that includes a wireless controller along with a plug and play set but when I picked it up clerk gave me box with only the controller. Thankfully the manager was understanding and helping of the situation and I was given the plug and play. Don't know if previous customers were helped as I was so for that reason I can't recommend.
Summary: As of yet, I have not been able to connect it to my Xbox. Once that is done, I should know it is as good as the remote I received when I bought my system. Until I can get it recognized by my Xbox, I can't tell you anything.
Pros: The controller feels nice and sturdy, definitely an improvement from the original models. The new D-pad switch is a nick gimmick, but I hardly ever use it.
Cons: The controller no longer holds a charge after two months of limited use, thus I have to either use batteries or keep the controller plugged in at all times. I spoke to Microsoft about this issue and they do not have a warranty / repair process for accessory items such as this.
