GREAT BUY!!!

Sara H., Newegg
22 August 2012
  • Summary: Shopped around. Most controllers require a separate receiver ($$$). This one simply plugs into Wii Remote and works on the 5 games we have downloaded in the Wii Store (N64 and Others).
  • Pros: Works Flawlessly Great Price Plugs Directly Into Wii Remote which can be placed anywhere
  • Cons: None

Very Useful

Andrew K., Newegg
17 April 2012
  • Summary: Designed for the Wii classic market, but works really well with some Wii games that support it (such as xenoblade chronicles).
  • Pros: Name-brand, sturdy, light, layout is near identical to a PS2 controller.
  • Cons: Needs to connect directly to a wiimote with a short cable, you may have trouble finding a good place to put the wiimote down.

Better Than The Original Model

Richard S., Newegg
31 December 2010
  • Summary: I got black because I got all my Wii accessories when the selection was only a white selection.
  • Pros: I never owned any Classic Controller models but I have used them and the Classic Controller Pro model has two improvements over the original model and that is cord placement and grips.
  • Cons: This is Nintendo! There are hardly any cons!

Great Old School Gaming

Zachary F., Newegg
17 December 2010
  • Summary: It is very light, hopefully durability will not be an issue. I will be buying a second controller.
  • Pros: Fits perfectly in your hand and is comfortable when using for several hours. Brings back great memories of past gaming experiences. A must have for first person shooters and any Virtual Console games you download. The joysticks feel very responsive and firm, so I think it will hold up well to vigorous use.
  • Cons: The black finish shows fingerprints all over, so don't expect it to look clean even after one use.

Gets the job done

Matthew F., Newegg
1 September 2010
  • Summary: I didn't realize it was an attachment to the bottom of a Wiimote and not a separate controller. Had I realized that, I would have gotten one a second Wiimote instead, as there aren't as many games to use the classic controller as I had first hoped.
  • Pros: Let's me play all me old SNES games, and certain Wii games with no problem. I like the black, too.
  • Cons: Left joystick seems to get stuck near the bottom from time to time. This makes everything continue moving downwards. It comes and goes though. This would be why it gets 4 eggs instead of 5.
