Summary: I would highly recommend not buying this monitor unless Sony has fixed the notorious failure problem. After trying for months - even years now to get this thing working again it still doesn't work. 2 months after buying it the screen started randomly blinking on and off.
Cons: -Very noticeable color shift from even the smallest angles -OSD buttons behind monitor so hard to see for sure which ones are being pressed -Washed out colors unless viewed at a perfect head-on angle. -It stopped working after a couple months
Great picture quality in both 2D as well as 3D and a bargain when on clearance! I've used it for 3 years, please see Pros/Cons.

Summary: At the original MSRP of $499.99 it was overpriced IMO, but I would highly recommend this display if it's on clearance. I personally bought two of them at $150 3 years ago and love the quality. Pros: The picture quality is excellent.
Summary: The 2 issues I had with this is that the glass panel on right side is slowly popping out the frame which tells me it was poorly manufactured. A common issue I discovered with other owners is that the display would occasionally turn black because I assume I had the brightness level at 10, but stopped...
Summary: So I purchased this display refurb with no glasses or game for $111 after tax and so far its a very nice display. 2 HDMI, 1 Comp and a Usb service port that can be used to power my chrome cast.
Summary: The display is awesome for gaming when it works. The picture quality is great, motions are fluid, and the 3d works well. However, the display does have serious issues that were bad enough for me to have to give up on it.
Summary: Pretty much as soon as these things came out, I got one. I'm going to make my review as short, sweet, and honest as possible. For all the TV comes with (3D capabilities, SimulView, wider screen, rechargeable glasses, etc.
Functional, but your money is better spent elsewhere.

Summary: I purchased this display on clearance at Wal-mart. My original plan was to replace my Samsung LCD TV in my kitchen but I ran into two major snags: No VESA mounting option, and the screen is ridiculously reflective. Not to mention the brightness is very subpar.
Another failed monitor. Red light error with black blank screen.

Summary: I was expecting this monitor to fail eventually due to this very common problem so I have only used this monitor sparingly. It finally died after a year. I estimated less than 50 hours of usage.
