Excellent 2nd monitor
5 August 2014
Summary: I'm not running into any of the other problems people are having with this monitor. This monitor works excellent with the ps4 and Xbox one. I only which it came with the remote. Other then that mounting this to an arm is a bit annoying.
Summary: The PSTV is slim, and surprisingly so. For a 1080p display, it crams all of the essentials while maintaining excellent picture quality. With a completely black coat remeniscient of the Playstation 2 design (the older finish, not the newer PS3 original glossy decal or updated gunmetal matte), and it looks great. Product shots provided by companies of their own products generally make those products look better than they actually do. In this case, Sony is dead on.
Great for a small bedroom, dedicated gaming or for a second computer screen

Summary: The display itself looks really good and is the perfect design to go with your Playstation 3 or 4. Great for a small room. Does not come with a remote control which is rather stupid but any cheap universal remote will do it. Also, the display is highly reflexive and you need to make sure you do not have a whole lot of light coming in.
Summary: Beware buyers! These monitors are known for breaking and being faulty! The first one I bought died after a month. I used it every day, for as little as 3 hours of gaming tops. I always played in 3D, then 4 weeks later, while playing, the screen goes black and there is no more picture! The blue LED at the bottom of the monitor indicates it's turned on, but the screen remains black! Check any forums and you will see that countless people have the same problem!
Pick one up if you can still find one at discounted price.

Summary: I really like this set, the picture quality, sound etc. This would be good used with Blu-Ray, or external tuner - not just for games. It has a few drawbacks such as certain settings cannot be changed, lack of a remote, but these things can be overcome. I would have given 4 1/2 if it was an option. I found the sound through the headphones very good, and the bass and treble levels can even be adjusted to your liking. The picture quality is great with a number of settings.
Spread the word to BUY THIS product! So SONY can make more of them & BIGGER

Summary: PERFECT DISPLAY! 3D ready for all 3D types. Glasses are 3D ready for all 3D modes & is Universal to all 3D tv's/Displays. Have not witnessed any type of burnt images on screen. The only feature this display lacks would have to be sound quality. If your a gamer who wears turtle beaches or connects the display to a external output system like me, YOU WILL DROOL ON THIS DISPLAY.
Died after 1 month, Blinking Red Light. DO NOT BUY!

Summary: I was ecstatic to bring this display home and hook it up to a second 80 GB fat Playstation in the bedroom. It worked fantastically, both with 3D and without. But after 1 month it died. I'd read about the defect, and on some Sony sites it is no longer for sale, but I thought I'd dodged that bullet. For perspective and GT5 fans, I'd gone from start to Level 20 on Gran Turismo 5 by the time this display no longer continued to function.
Pros: - Great picture, - 3D in the home with a small footprint, - Slim profile, - Multiple inputs, - Respectable sound
Cons: - No remote (primarily for volume and switching inputs)
