Bought and doesn't work.

Richard P., Newegg
21 May 2015
  • Summary: I would suggest a different manufacturer, catz has always been know for a good get you buy controller or etc... but the quality of the service is terrible.
  • Pros: stick seems to be good and thruster is nice as well- in the sense of quality, now if I could only buy one that worked. out of the box the thing did not work. I was confident buying from, the high review so I figured why not. joystick doesn't work at all so now I need to go through the whole proce...
  • Cons: its a gamble of whether you get a working one or not.

Everything else works great, but this is a deal breaker

Jason K., Amazon
28 February 2015
  • Summary: For some reason the adjustable piece for your hand will not stay put when adjusted. I would expect a 200 dollar item would work as desribed and be quality enough to function correctly. Everything else works great, but this is a deal breaker.

Do not expect it to last for a mere $180.00

J. Biehl "Depressed Gamer", Amazon
22 February 2015
  • Summary: The joystick is beautiful to look at and feels great in the hand. I had the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick and like it very much but when I started to play Elite Dangerous this stick just did not have enough buttons and Coolie hats or POV Hats.

Well....

ANTON D., Newegg
28 January 2015
  • Pros: As tired as this is: Looks nice, lots of button. Rubbery-feel grip feels pretty good. Good side stick and throttle.
  • Cons: The (in comparison) non significant stuff out of the way: The stick definitely feels way too light. I got used to it after a day or two (trying to set it up, more below) so it was not a big deal. To get 100% throttle, you really need to push the throttle forward so it goes past a "click", again, ...

Bad Stick

Joel L., Newegg
20 January 2015
  • Summary: look me up on steam and contact me if you have any questions.
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: The flash of the joystick as it loses power to the joystick. i can be in a bank and holding the stick and the joystick will flash/turn off and when it comes back on, it will reset the throttle as if the bank i'm holding is center. This major flaw has put me into the ground numerous times and is e...

Trigger broken right out of the box

David R. Siepel, Amazon
28 December 2014
  • Summary: Got it for my Father for Xmas to play Warthunder. The two stage trigger was broken right out of the box. How do these pass QC when the MAIN BUTTON isnt even tested. I could deal with a another button not working, but the trigger? We lubed it and cleaned it, but nope, its a hardware failure.

Flight Stick just keeps flashing

Henry, Newegg
7 August 2014
  • Summary: The quality of the power port on the flight stick seems very low for a $120 setup.
  • Pros: thrust works great, it was easy to set up.
  • Cons: The actual flight stick doesn't work it just has its lights flashing constantly when plugged in. I've searched through multiple forums on how to fix this and nothing has worked.

Cable problems

John R., Newegg
7 July 2014
  • Pros: Not sure. I have to order other connectors to get it to work.
  • Cons: The joystick uses a PS/2 cable and does not have USB option like the throttle. The USB cable on the throttle is very short.

lolsaitek/madcatz

Alan D., Newegg
7 November 2013
  • Pros: button functionality, so many different ways to program buttons.
  • Cons: main stick is EXTREMLY loose in comparison to what i would call high end hotas systems. and then there are the drivers and customer support....or rather lack there of. constant crashing of the SST programing software forces me to restart my system each time it does go down, and this is a completl...
