Summary: First the Siatek Yoke and Rudder Peddles work fine with every computer game I have tested them with, including MS Flight Simulator x and X-Plane 10 Global. The Saitek Panels are a different story, they take more work to get connected. Saitek provides a driver that gets the Panel's USB info into your computer, if the game runs under Windows then there needs to be another driver to get the Panel info into Windows.
Summary: Very Cessna-like! The feel is somewhat accurate, although it is not identical. But that's the beauty -- it can be used both for Cessna simulations as well as simulations with aircraft that have similar throttle configurations. Very smooth control operation and very sturdy.
Summary: Saitek drivers are NOT compatible with Windows 8. I'm running FSX, Xplane, and Prepar3d and in spite of spending hours browsing forums looking for solutions I am unable to get this product to work 100% with any of the 3 sims I have. I had the TPM system as well as the radio panel and switch panel for nearly a year now and they are collecting dust.
Summary: I was at first concerned with the oversized plastic look of the unit and strongly considered the GoFlight TPM. Was pleasantly surprised with this. The push rods for the TPM are firm and accurate, would love a vernier for the mixture but I can't really complain. Some have kvetched over the toggle switches, I've had no issues programming the switches with FSUIPC. If they are treated as momentary switches rather than toggles they work just fine.
Summary: Make sure you have a powered usb hub if you are buying these Pro Flight items... your motherboard will quickly run out of ports and won't be able to power all of them itself anyway.... 12V 5A 13 port by Anker is the one I went for... - Wish the buttons were toggle as to use them you have to flip them twice depending on the function you assign to them...
Pros: - Solid construction - easy to configure - extra switches useful if you need more things binded to them... I use them as my circuit breaks...
Summary: Just like the real deal. This product attaches to the other Saitek Pro components and really enriches the flight sim experience. I use them with FSX and X-Plane 10. A quick note, this product itself requires a mount. It doesn't screw into the other units with the little screws. This needs to be mounted just like the flight stick. Just a note for those with limited space.
Summary: Every control is sturdy and feels like it belongs in a real plane, and you can tell by feel which item you're touching so you don't have to take your hands off the stick. Now if they'd only make a force feedback joystick for us WW1 pilots. Thanks, Saitek. My flight control panel is filling up with your wonderful products!
