Summary: In general they work- just be prepared for sloppy axis and having to tweak deadzones. It's a shame that they can't quite master the very tricky "spring technology".
Pros: Hey, they're pedals! Time to yaw.
Cons: Cheap construction- Saitek has dosedived in quality since Madcatz took over. The toe brakes have really cheap, weak springs- I'm lucky to have about 60% of the axis working after deadzoning. Plus the toe brakes activate about 20% when using the rudder, regardless of what you're doing. The softwar...
Summary: I got this as part of a bundle with a Thrustmaster Warthog - if not for that, I'd probably consider returning them...they just aren't worth the asking price with the noise, the too-easy to press brake pedals, and most especially if they can't stay in place when used.
Pros: Tracking is pretty good Adjustable tension for the rudder motion It's a decent looking unit
Cons: For the asking price it feels a bit cheap. While the heel rests are metal, they are just thin sleeves slipped over plastic parts. Almost everything else is plastic. Brake pedals are *WAY* too easy to trigger and the tension isn't adjustable. Unit is *NOISY* - every move of the pedals sounds like ...
Summary: I like the construction, and build of the pedals. But the pedals was way to stiff even after setting it to be a loose as possible. After a few hours of using them, my legs started to get tired. I returned them.
Summary: As a rudder controler these are great love em! However as for the brakes they don't work. I am using FS 2004 and I can't get the brakes to work at all. Also I won't get into detail but the software is hard to deal with.
Summary: Firstly, The main choice between peddles is Saitek and CH. By far if your going to buy go with these. They are better made and are solid. That being said, DO NOT think your going to attach these and take off and fly around remotely right. Rudder peddles are VERY, VERY, VERY, hard to learn right.
Summary: The Saitek Pro flight Rudder Pedals are a great addition to my Flight Simulator X setup when they are working but the rudder pedals constantly get stuck in the full right position. I have to remove all the screws and take the rudders pedals apart to unstick the pedals.
Summary: Delivery was on time and overall quality seemed good... Until I plugged it in, you see. Installation was easy, but after minimal use, the entire rudder response was broken, which only left me with the toe breaks to use. Replacement should be on it's way, but it'll take two weeks.
Summary: If Your Left with no choice but these entry level Saitek USB Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, then that's all a die hard flight sim gamers might want to settle for. I was disappointed that Future Shop discontinued the retail of its far better Saitek Pro Flight Combat Pedals which were made of far superior...
