Summary: I honestly dont understand what everyone is complaining about. Although I havent had this long enough (I've had it a few weeks) for it to break like everyone else has. But I bought it for play Madden 08 with on PC. It works great. Works great in madden. I love it and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I purchased this Saitek P2500 game pad to replace a Microsoft game pad (the X-axis toggle broke off due to cheap construction).
I've been very happy with the Saitek, particularly the ergonomics and the quality of construction.

Summary: The button layout is good just not my preference. Though it works great for many games.
Pros: This controller is great as a plug n' play. I've used it plenty of times without the drivers and XP does a fine job of picking it up. The cord on it is a decent length. It big but its comfortable in my opinion. Though some games, for whatever reasons, don't have game pad support. Saitek has fanta...
Cons: Yes the d-pad will break. Mine didn't break for a couple of years though. Buttons 5 and 6 (the far right buttons) seem out of reach. I use my right index finger to press them when my thumb is already pressing another button. Also it could have used 2 shoulder buttons per side instead of 1. The "s...
Summary: Some how I missed the fact that it only has 2 shoulder buttons and not 4, I think I mistook this one for the 2600 :p. I would have liked 2 analog triggers with 2 shoulder buttons. I think I would have been better off with either the wireless version of the non-rumble wired version.
Pros: Has 6 buttons on the right, which is great for a lot of games!
Cons: Rumble has a rattle kind of sound to it, rather then a hum. Thought it had a start and select based upon the picture, but those buttons were mode buttons (digital and rumble).
Summary: ive had these for over a year to play ps1 games on my pc. i didnt buy it from newegg, but i must say that it is one of the best pc controllers of this type that i have owned. it isnt perfect, but what is? im thinking im gonna buy another soon for FIFA multiplayer action. Go Saitek/Newegg.
Pros: it still works after a year. the joysticks are not messed up at all after a year of use. The buttons do not stick. buttons work when pressed.
Cons: uh, mabe the sensitivity of the d-pad buttons. they are shaped weird, but are all still functioning fine.
Summary: I bought this for a few emulators i use, while everything works great, I've had to assign the #5 and #6 buttons for start and select, which are located next to the 4 main buttons, causing inadvertant pausing of some games.
Pros: nice soft feel, all buttons and controls work
Cons: the placement of a digital switch and rumble switch where the start / select buttons are normally placed- an issue for emulator users
Summary: I really like this controller. It feels great in my hands and the programming software works well for most situaitions. My only conplaint which is why it only gets 4 stars is that the analog controls are very, very sensitive, so if you move the control slightly, the game will think you moved it a...
Summary: I've had my controller for over 6 months now and it's a great controller but it does have it's share of flaws. The location of the analog sticks aren't quite perfect I think they need to be moved a tiny bit outward more 2 or 3 mm to feel a bit more natural also the analog controllers while they the...
Summary: This controller is very nice. The analog sticks work very well, but are not quite as comfortable as a Playstation controller, and the rumble feature causes something in the controller to rattle. These are minor annoyances, however, because otherwise, I really like this thing.
