Summary: this was a great buy I hate the controller stick went dead in the down position I LOVED using this device. I upgraded to a different one with the extended warranty I bought with it. No hassle and full refund was really nice.
Pros: Good control, easy setup, xpadder worked great with it. Well placed buttons
Summary: I couldn't beat it for the price. I'm sure that other gamepads (in the >$60 range) would work smoother and program easier, but for $20 it meets my needs and expectations. If you are a hardcore gamer- get hardcore equipment. I didn't need it and am happy to have a less expensive alternative.
Pros: Price. Laptop keyboard is too cramped. Wasn't willing to shell out $60+. Keys are programmable as single keys, combinations, or macros-(haven't tried that yet). Good way to get the keys I need without the ones I don't and stopped my hand from cramping. After using it in game I may get one for wor...
Cons: Discrepancy between colors on pad and in software as noted, not an issue since I knew in advance. Ministick is not easily programmable (tried to remap as WASD, got no response). Pad has 21 keys, software has 16 + ministick. Not for hardcore enthusiasts.
Cons: ministick sticks, software is to much trouble if it worked right it would be great but would not keep key bindings the pad is not very adjustible so its unconfortable packing had about 6in of room for it to bounce around in and its not the pro they send the cyborg
Summary: I programmed the ministick for movement with the x-axis having the "A" key at 0-40%, and the "D" key at 60-100%. The y-axis, "W" key at 0-40% and the "S" key at 60-100%. I have a blank band on both axis from 40-60%, otherwise the character will keep moving in relation to whatever key happens to be...
Pros: Perfect for getting as many functions as possible under your fingertips. I play Warhammer Online with it, and it easily lets me do everything more efficiently now. Up to this point I had been using the mouse to hit my attacks, target, and change pov. Keyboard commands seemed great, but moving wit...
Cons: Colors didn't match up between the profile editor and the gamepad. The switch on the gamepad has a green, yellow and red setting, while the editor shows it blue, green, red. To make it confusing, the green switch uses the blue profile, the yellow switch the green profile, and the red, if you can ...
Summary: Well it took all most 3 years before I lost a button. I lost key 3. But I just use key 1 instead it took me awhile to get use to it but I did. But I'm ready to buy another one. And I still wont spend as much money as if I had spent more on the other two. P.S.
Pros: Its comfortable durable nice back lit buttons and it has settings that the eighty dollar plus game pads have.
Cons: Ya the buttons do stick but rarely does it cause an issue in game. if you simply puss another direction you will be unstuck but this wasn't,t enough to take an egg away because it doesn't change my game play.
Summary: Can't believe I gave up my N52 for this piece of junk. The only thing I'm using it for right now is WASD and jump. Just ordered a new N52TE. You get what you pay for and I got it all right.... I want a refund....!!!! Fortunately the only thing I'm playing right now is LOTRO..
Cons: Poor key placement..( very poor )....programming is a nightmare ( bindings won't hold ) Uncomfortable....thumbsticks are useless. RTS, RPG pre layouts are pointless. Sometimes causes bluescreens of death...
Cons: absolute junk! VERY cheaply made, long keystrokes, poor thumb stick, thumb button placement is poor and the adjustable thumb tray slides on a thin plastic rod that has too much flex and cannot be securely tightened.
Summary: Despite the manufacturing problem with the joystick, I can't get myself comfortable with any other game pad. I used the nostromo for about a year before I switched to this. Took a little bit to get used to, and now I'm hooked. The nostromo just doesn't have enough keys for my needs.
Pros: Has plenty of keys for any game I want to play. Easy to use software.
Cons: I've gone through 2 of these now, currently on my third. The joystick gets worn out after 4-5 months of use. Even though it is centered, it will constantly be keying itself to the right. I've read many complaints about this happening to other users as well.
