Review: Saitek Cyborg Command Unit

29 March 2008
  • Conclusion: The Saitek Cyborg Command Unit is going to have a hard time finding a niche that it fits into because it is trying to do what a keyboard and mouse already do. If you travel with your computer a lot and you find your keyboard too big then this might work for you. If you find a place for the Command Unit in your gaming and are willing to take the time to program all the keys to fit your games then you will enjoy this.

Saitek Cyborg Command Unit

21 February 2008
  • Summary: Eminently configurable keys and a surprisingly useful analog stick make the Cyborg Command Unit one of the nicer gaming pads we've seen, but it's still a matter of personal taste whether it can or should replace your keyboard.
  • Pros: Flexible configuration for shooters, strategy, and role-playing games; handy analog thumb stick; colorful backlighting; adjustable ergonomics.
  • Cons: Command profiles must be reloaded every time the computer is restarted or the pad is plugged in; for right-handed users only.

Saitek Cyborg Command Unit Review

I4U News
1 August 2007
  • Summary: Verdict If I were a heavy LAN partygoers I could certainly see the desire for a device like this. As a gamer that only plays at a large desk, I prefer to stick with my gaming keyboard. However, gamers playing in a small confined area will probably like the Saitek Cyborg Command Unit as well.
  • Pros: Three shift modes, Easy to program, Backlit well
  • Cons: USB cable was too short for my needs, Takes some getting used to

Test: Saitek Cyborg Command Unit

4 April 2008

Saitek Cyborg Command Unit

11 March 2008
