Works great

William H., Newegg
9 July 2013
  • Pros: Has worked perfectly for over two years now. Just plug it in and fire up the Wii.
  • Cons: The LED is a bright blue but if you cover it with black tape it won't bug you in a dark room.

Pretty Good Item

David A., Newegg
22 March 2013
  • Summary: Ordered same time as marketplace items but arrived later. Was able to track it and it came from trusted source so that was good. Plugged in and it worked. Still have issues with huluplus and wii locks up. This is probably due to hulu's software and/or servers not being too good.
  • Pros: Fair price Helped with Buffering issue over wireless Plugged in and worked immediately
  • Cons: Didn't cure buffering issue with huluplus but it did help. BUT that may all be because of huluplus.

Wii to Router

Mike L., Newegg
6 January 2013
  • Pros: Works as intended. Plug in ethernet cable to this product, and into your router, or modem's LAN (ethernet) port. Configure the Wii Internet settings. That's it, you are "on-line"! A Must Have for the 1st generation WII systems.
  • Cons: None.

still full of win

Carolyne W., Newegg
18 November 2012
  • Summary: since it uses a usb slot, you gotta pick what usb components you want plugged up in your wii. especially for games like monster hunter tri. when you want the speedy wired internet + wii speak + usb keyboard. but i think a usb hub will also work for that issue though.
  • Pros: isn't unstable like wireless connections usually are fast and reliable
  • Cons: none really, unless you're playing a game which you may want more than 2 usb slots used. like monster hunter.

Does what it is supposed to do!

Wayne D., Newegg
29 October 2011
  • Summary: Buy it...it works!
  • Pros: Plugs in, no setup required on my Wii other than changing the settings from wireless to wired. WiFi in my house is iffy and streaming Netflix via WiFi always caused it to pause at "Retrieving" several times during the program. With this device, it never loses signal and only retrieves the data on...
  • Cons: The cost was a bit more than I would have liked, but it was a decent buy.

Works Great!

Eric C., Newegg
31 August 2011
  • Summary: Newegg is king! I've been a customer for a few years now, and through the use of product reviews and a little good luck , I have NEVER had a problem with any of the many items i have purchased. Shipping is always prompt, and nothing has ever arrived damaged.
  • Pros: Does what it's supposed to. Plug it in, change the Wii internet connection settings to wired connection, and you win. Works with either USB port. Sturdy packaging, on the manufacturer's behalf, and Newegg's.
  • Cons: None so far.

Still working

Samuel S., Newegg
8 August 2011
  • Summary: Does what it's suppose to do. One of the few good Network Ports for the Wii as Nintendo stopped manufacturing their version.
  • Pros: After 3 months of use, it's still working. Not much else to say as it does what it's suppose to do.
  • Cons: Cheap quality feel. I'm expecting it to melt from the feel of it, lol! Does feel a little warmer than it should be, but my room tends to be a sauna from my PC running almost all the time. Not and "official" Nintendo product.
