A nice looking game, however...

  • Summary: Link's Crossbow Training is a very good looking light-gun game, but is marred by massive amounts of lag. This game has fantastic looking environments and well defined goals and enemies that make it seem like it should be a lot of fun to play. Unfortunately, it takes a bit for the targeting reticle to catch up to where the controller is actually pointing make the game play pretty poorly.

  • Excerpt: The Nintendo Wii Zapper is the most popular light gun for the Nintendo Wii, and only because its official. First up, it doesn't look or feel anything like an actualy gun, which cannot be said of its competitition - Models like the Nyko Perfect Shot Logic3 and Bigben actually resemble guns, but this just looks like some kind of weird alien blaster, and the trigger is at the FRONT which just feels rubbish, and you can't really press the trigger (which pulls the B button...

A good idea but not functional in pretty much all Wii shooters

  • Excerpt: Since the launch of the Wii promised a new way of interacting with games, I was unbelivably excited after hearing Nintendo would be launching their own gun-like peripheral. However the reality of how useful it is is absolutely dire. The Wii Zapper is a essentially a plastic casing for your Wii Remote and Nunchuck and comes bundled with the short game "Link's Crossbow training".
