Summary: The RCA type plugs that go into the television are too bulky and would not fit. I tried this on two separate televisions, and the sides of the plugs press together, not allowing them to go straight in and actually holding them at such an extreme angle, they were unable to be inserted properly at...
Excerpt: I think that his component to connect the wii to your tv is exactly what you need if you want the best kind of connection with the best resolution. The price is at less fair and very reasonable for what you are looking for.
Summary: I have two Wii consoles and I picked this set for my older Wii. A few years ago I bought the more expensive cables ~$40-50 and I cannot tell a difference between the two sets. Definitely upgrade from the regular AV cables that come with the Wii.
Summary: Cable works as advertised, makes my Wii's games look noticibly better on my HD TV, and worth the investment for those still using the original cables. Only thing I found a little mis-leading is that after examining the cables, I did not find Nintendo's logo on them anywhere, nor any trademark logo...
Totally worth the money if you use your Wii on an HDTV

Excerpt: After recently purchasing a brand new Nintendo Wii, I was more than a little underwhelmed with how it looked on my fairly large HDTV. After using an XBOX 360 in true high definition for the last few years I may have been spoiled by its visual splendour but I still wasn't willing to accept that.
Summary: A major upgrade to the quality of the picture, both in contrast and brightness after installing the Nintendo Licensed Component Video Cable especially if you are using a HD tv. Good price, good choice.
Summary: The component cable does create a noticeably sharper image with enhanced colours. (although the sharper image can also make jagged edges more apparant as there is a lack of anti aliasing in the system). I would not call this product a necessity, the wii experience is just as great without it.
