Summary: I bought this on my brother's advice. I expected it to make a difference in the clarity of the signal but I had no idea that it would dramatically improve the color as well. I have a 720p plasma and this thing makes the graphics on the Wii so much better. It is well worth the price.
Pros: Increases clarity and color of Games on HDTVs Allows for 480p setting to be activated
Excerpt: I think that his component to connect the wii to your tv is exactly what you need if you want the best kind of connection with the best resolution. The price is at less fair and very reasonable for what you are looking for.
Totally worth the money if you use your Wii on an HDTV

Excerpt: After recently purchasing a brand new Nintendo Wii, I was more than a little underwhelmed with how it looked on my fairly large HDTV. After using an XBOX 360 in true high definition for the last few years I may have been spoiled by its visual splendour but I still wasn't willing to accept that.
A must buy for Wii owners with a HD TV, the graphics improve significantly for only £10.

Excerpt: Having previously played my Wii on a regular old television I was more than happy with the graphics in game. However upon moving house and purchasing a Samsung LCD TV which is HD compatible, I figured buying a component cable couldn't hurt and I had heard good things about its effect upon games.
Excerpt: The Nintendo Wii Component Video Cable allows you to display your Wii games in 480p high definition if you have a HDTV. This is not as good as 720p, 1080i or 1080p that you can get on a PS3 or XBox 360 but it is the best picture quality you can get from your Wii and you will notice the improvement.
Pros: The best picture quality you can get from your Wii .
Excerpt: Takes the Wii to the limit of its visual capacity. OK, so the Wii doesn't have the *really* hi-def visuals you would get from a PS3 or X-Box 360, but be honest here, does anyone buy a Wii for the visual experience?
Excerpt: The Wii Component Cable is a Cable which delivers a 480P Picture. (The Wii is not a HD Console but the cable just offers a Higher Picture Quality) The Cable retails from £19.99 - £29.99 and There is still a shortage as loads of people are after the cable.
