  • Excerpt: Wii Fit Plus The Wii Fit had already sold very well, so how could they make it better. Well having been addicted to the Wii Fit, I found that there were several ways it could improve such as making things more customized. I loved the original Wii Fit because it felt so interactive with the use of a virtual personal trainer who was very positive and motivating and also a use of great features that were easy to use and good for both beginners and advanced users alike.
  • Pros: Fun, interactive and it does work
  • Cons: Bad times when batteries are low .

Review of the Wii Fit Disc only

  • Excerpt: purchased the Wii fit, partly for the fitness element, but also as some of the games you can use the balance board on as well. Setting Up the Board. This was a lot easier for me then setting up the Wii console, but in all honestly I am not the most technical person in the world. The setting up just took 5 minutes at the most, more of that was me reading the instructions about a dozen times over, one wired in, the board puts you through a basic set of tests, to is to...
  • Pros: A good range of exercises to do at home

  • Excerpt: Why I brought the Wii Fit? I brought the Wii Fit Plus last month from the store Smyths (the toy store). I brought the Wii balance board, Wii Console and Wii Fit Plus for the total price of £185. The reason I brought it was because of the poster outside the shop which showed how it can monitor your bmi and weight and the different games and exercises which the Wii Fit offers.
  • Pros: Tracks your weight, fun way of loosing weight !

  • Excerpt: I have always been into fitness so when the Wii Fit Plus became available I just had to buy it and give it a go. This game is packed with loads of helpful features that are designed to help you keep fit and have fun while doing so. So first things first, to play the game you need to create a user profile, this is very important as this is where all your data will be stored within the game.
  • Pros: easy to use, great range of activities
  • Cons: multiplayer isn't great

There is also a daily Body Test you can take, which measures your balance and your BMI to see if you are overweight, underweight or normal.

Fun way to loose weight!

  • Excerpt: I purchased a nintendo wii for my boyfriend last year as a christmas present. I paid £150 for the wii on amazon and then another £75 for the wii fit and balance board. He was always moaning about needing to lose a bit of weight but never felt motivated to go for a run or bike ride. He didn’t want to commit himself to a gym membership so I thought a nintendo wii might be a bit more of a fun way to help him get up and active a maybe lose a bit of weight at the same time.
  • Pros: Fun and easy to use
  • Cons: Wii board doesnt always pick up your on it

Fun, but hard to stay with.

  • Excerpt: In my opinion, Wii fit is a fun game if you are severely dedicated. For the average person, I think it would run out of use after a month of so of playing. To me, I'd say because the multiplayer functions are somewhat poor. There aren't many group activity games you can play, other than running which gets old. If you are a dedicated athlete trying to get into better shape, I recommend the game. If not, I don't.
  • Pros: Fun, actual work out
  • Cons: Repetitive, boring after a while

  • Excerpt: In my oppinion the wii fit plus + wii balance board is the best product going! not only does it get you up from the chair but it is very fun to play too! choosing from different activities such as muscle workouts, yoga, fat burn, cardio workout and aerobics you cant go wrong. The best part of it all is that you get to customise your own workout and set goals for yourself, see how much calories you burn and how long you have been working out for.
  • Pros: set your own goals and personalise it your way
  • Cons: wii fit board needs batteries that have to be changed every so often
