Summary: this mic is perfect for Rock Band and Guitar Hero. It works perfectly both in my Wii and PS3 systemas and delivers great sound. I even use it with my computer for skype calls since it has better soiund definition that my webcam mic. Over all is a great USB wireless mic and has great battery durtation. Dont hesitate in buying it!
Summary: This is exactly what it says it is. The only problem was that when it came it did not say it was compatible with the Wii only playstation 2 and 3. If you flip it over to the side it will tell you there.
Summary: I was getting tired of the dog nearly taking out my Wii with the corded microphone that came with Rockband so I replaced it with this. It was beyond easy to set up...It was virtually painless. Just plug the USB in and put the batteries in the microphone and it automatically synced. I tried it out and works even better than the Rockband one, it cuts out the "tapping" noises when you have to use it as a cowbell/tambourine during game play.
Summary: Logitech did a fantastic job with this microphone and it works flawlessly on my ps3. The base seems to hold the microphone and act like the wireless receiver. The microphone also twists open so you can insert the double A batteries. So far battery life has been great, there has been no connection issues and I think it works better then the the regular wired microphone.
Summary: Setup was easy and the mic work as intended. Tried it with Rock Band Beatles Edition on the PS3 and the lag was minimal... completely usable for singing. The mic itself feels solid and well-made. The special USB dongle lets this mic work with all major consoles, which is great.
The days of being tied down to a wire mic are over...

Summary: I too was a bit skeptical about this mic given the price, but it is worth every penny. Before buying this microphone, I had bought two other wireless usb mics - one low end one made overseas, and a Datel 2.4gHz wireless mic - needless to say, neither of them worked very well - lots of problems with coverage, interference and echos. The Logitech mic is 100% flawless.
Summary: Does this microphone work for Beatles Rock Band? Anyone purchase it yet? I just bought two and they arrived today but nowhere on the packages does it say Wii Beatles Rock Band but the only game it says it doesn't support is Singstar. I don't want to open the packaging if this isn't going to work with the Wii Beatles Rock Band. And can someone suggest what extra microphones work with Wii Beatles Rock Band...thanks.
Summary: We use this microphone for Guitar Hero on the Playstation 3. It works great, has a long range and is very clear. The wireless feature is fantastic. We previously had a corded version and I felt very tied to the Playstation, was worried about tripping over it. Now I can be a rock star without the fear of the cord. Definitely a great gift idea for Guitar Hero and Rock Band fands.
Summary: One thing that happens constantly at my place is Rock Band parties. One thing that hampers these fun parties are cords. I can't stand them and what inadvertently happens is a web or cords that (sometimes drunk) people have to manuever around. It's not exactly the best experience at times. When I heard that Logitech was bringing a cordless mic to the party, I got excited for a couple reasons.
