Logitech scores a homerun with the wireless MIC, pc's and mac's welcome!
5 January 2011
Summary: Logitech has done it again..this time with a wireless Microphone that is intended to be used with game consoles such as the PS2, PS3, Wii, and the XBox 360. However, it does much more....it works on both PC's and MAC's without any additional software installs. And now for the review: Box Includes: Logitech Microphone 2 AA Batteries (Thank you Logitech) Two nylon hand straps.
Summary: Love this mic! We used it to play Rockband on an Xbox 360. Note: This mic does NOT work with a Wii! Microphone uses 2 AA batteries....which are even included! Microphone handle unscrews for battery insertion. It is nice because the batteries add a good weight to the mic, making it feel more professional and substantial in your hand. Set up took 3 seconds, literally plug and play.
Summary: I've been waiting for this microphone patiently since it was first announced by Logitech ever so long ago. While the $80 price tag seemed a bit steep, the desire of having a completely wireless RockBand set and $40 in Amazon.com gift cards I earned doing internet surveys made the cost a little more reasonable.
Summary: this mic is perfect for Rock Band and Guitar Hero. It works perfectly both in my Wii and PS3 systemas and delivers great sound. I even use it with my computer for skype calls since it has better soiund definition that my webcam mic. Over all is a great USB wireless mic and has great battery durtation. Dont hesitate in buying it!
Summary: This is exactly what it says it is. The only problem was that when it came it did not say it was compatible with the Wii only playstation 2 and 3. If you flip it over to the side it will tell you there.
Summary: I was getting tired of the dog nearly taking out my Wii with the corded microphone that came with Rockband so I replaced it with this. It was beyond easy to set up...It was virtually painless. Just plug the USB in and put the batteries in the microphone and it automatically synced. I tried it out and works even better than the Rockband one, it cuts out the "tapping" noises when you have to use it as a cowbell/tambourine during game play.
Summary: Logitech did a fantastic job with this microphone and it works flawlessly on my ps3. The base seems to hold the microphone and act like the wireless receiver. The microphone also twists open so you can insert the double A batteries. So far battery life has been great, there has been no connection issues and I think it works better then the the regular wired microphone.
Summary: Setup was easy and the mic work as intended. Tried it with Rock Band Beatles Edition on the PS3 and the lag was minimal... completely usable for singing. The mic itself feels solid and well-made. The special USB dongle lets this mic work with all major consoles, which is great.
The days of being tied down to a wire mic are over...

Summary: I too was a bit skeptical about this mic given the price, but it is worth every penny. Before buying this microphone, I had bought two other wireless usb mics - one low end one made overseas, and a Datel 2.4gHz wireless mic - needless to say, neither of them worked very well - lots of problems with coverage, interference and echos. The Logitech mic is 100% flawless.
