Works really well
Oleg B., Newegg
5 August 2010
Pros: Works really well with F1 2009 (this game is pretty much unplayable without the wheel, at least I wasn't having any luck with tilting the wiimote for steering). I was really surprised at how well force feedback works - you get the bumps and it gives you more resistance if you are driving at high ...
Cons: I don't really see any cons with this, and no, I do not see limited compatibility as a con - this is up to game developers, not hardware makers. One con about Newegg itself - they should really put a disclaimer on the product page about game compatibility but on the other side they would have to ...
Summary: I bought two wheels, and I bought F1 2009 and Dirt-2. F1 2009 is amazing; Dirt-2 not too bad. I bought SpeedZone on fleabay but have not yet played it. For the price, even though there are only 4 games that support it, it's an amazing wheel.
Pros: Great wheel, great controls, obviously high quality and good packaging. Oh, and have I mentioned that they're giving them away!?!
Cons: Only supported by Wii4 games: F1 2009, Dirt 2, SpeedZone, NFS Undercover
Summary: Before you rush in and buy make sure you have either F1 2009 or Need For Speed Undercover as these are the only games I have found so far to support this device. I'll keep searching and hopefully find another. Glad I only spent ten bills with free shipping for this otherwise I'd be pretty pee'd off.
Pros: Apparrently it does work great with the 2 games that support it. Newegg is great!
Cons: It only works with 2 games (only been searching for about 15 minutes but this is all I've found so far) Logitech support page has a link to the the product page for this device for supported games but the page for the Logitech Gaming wheels does not even include this product. ????????
Summary: It's a little tricky to get the wheel recognized, but if you follow the directions provided with the game, it works every time. Wish that you could still use the wii-mote to navigate menus. The powercord is exceptionally long, so shouldn't be a problem to find a nearby AC outlet.
Pros: This is a great wheel for the price - I bought 2 (first at $29.95+shipping, second at $9.95+shipping) I can confirm that this wheel works with: - Need for Speed Undercover (it was specifically designed for this game) - Dirt 2 - Codemasters' Formula 1 F1 2009 Does not require the wii-mote to be 'a...
Cons: Lack of games - works only with specific games (games have to be developed to recognize the wheel, so check the game first). Shame it doesn't come with pedals. Not exactly Wireless: You need to connect the wheel to an AC power adapter (included) - It's only 'wireless' to the wii
Summary: You're much better off with the wheel that uses suction cups to stick to the table where you insert your wii mote into the wheel...
Pros: Wheel works great with Need for Speed Undercover.
Cons: Wheel doesn't work with nearly every other racing game on the Wii. I bought this for my toddler to play his monster truck games with and guess what... none of them work. Doesn't work with Mario Kart either.
